What ANS UKFast (BYOK) is for

ANS UKFast (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own ANS UKFast data through the ANS UKFast API with a key you supply (ANS API application key (read access)). Read-only: 12 tools (get_account_details, list_credits, list_invoices, list_payments, list_recurring_costs, list_cloud_costs, list_subscriptions, list_safedns_zones, list_safedns_records, list_load_balancer_clusters, list_monitoring_devices, list_datacentre_regions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.ukfast.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What payment method is my ANS account on?"
  • "How many ANS credits do I have left?"
  • "Which ANS invoices are still unpaid?"
  • "What did I pay ANS for recently?"
  • "What recurring charges do I have with ANS?"
  • "How much have my ANS cloud servers cost since the last invoice?"

What it does

  • get_account_details: Get your ANS account details: name, country, payment method and demo flag.
  • list_credits: List your prepaid credits by type with total and remaining amounts.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with date, net, VAT, gross, outstanding amount and paid flag.
  • list_payments: List payment lines with category, description, period, cost, VAT, discount and gross.
  • list_recurring_costs: List recurring costs with product, cost, period, status and next payment date.
  • list_cloud_costs: List metered cloud resource costs per server: usage and cost since the last invoice and the estimate for the period.
  • list_subscriptions: List product subscriptions with list price, sale price, discount rate and start and end dates.
  • list_safedns_zones: List the DNS zones hosted on SafeDNS.
  • list_safedns_records: List the records of a SafeDNS zone: name, type, content, TTL and priority.
  • list_load_balancer_clusters: List load balancer clusters with deployed flag and last deployment time.
  • list_monitoring_devices: List devices under monitoring with type, display name, IP address and platform. Credentials are not returned.
  • list_datacentre_regions: List the ANS data centre regions with their identifiers.

BYOK key

You bring your own ANS UKFast ANS API application key (read access) (https://developers.ukfast.io/getting-started). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.ukfast.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
