What Unleash (BYOK) is for
Unleash (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Unleash data through the Unleash API with a key you supply (personal access token or service account token). Read-only: 11 tools (list_projects, list_environments, search_features, get_feature_strategies, list_feature_tags, list_events, list_segments, list_strategy_types, list_applications, list_context_fields, list_feature_flag_types). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.app.unleash-hosted.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Unleash. Unleash and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which projects exist in our Unleash instance?"
- "Which environments are set up in Unleash?"
- "Which feature flags in the default project are stale?"
- "How is the new-checkout flag rolled out in production?"
- "Which tags does the new-checkout flag have?"
- "What changed in our Unleash instance recently?"
What it does
list_projects: List the projects of the Unleash instance with feature and member counts, collaboration mode and last flag usage.list_environments: List all environments of the instance (for example development and production) with type, enabled state and counts.search_features: Search feature flags across the instance by name or tag with optional project, state and lifecycle filters; returns a page of flags with type, project, stale state and lifecycle stage.get_feature_strategies: List the activation strategies of one feature flag in one environment, with title, disabled flag, segments and parameters.list_feature_tags: List the tags attached to one feature flag.list_events: List the most recent change events of the instance (last 100), or all events of one project, with type, actor, flag and environment.list_segments: List the reusable user segments with description, project, creation date and how many flags and projects use each.list_strategy_types: List the available activation strategy types (built-in and custom) with display name, description and parameters.list_applications: List applications that have connected to the instance through an SDK, with SDK version and projects used.list_context_fields: List the configured Unleash context fields (such as userId) with description, stickiness support and usage counts.list_feature_flag_types: List the feature flag types (release, experiment, operational, kill-switch, permission) with description and days before a flag counts as potentially stale.
BYOK key
You bring your own Unleash personal access token or service account token (https://docs.getunleash.io/concepts/api-tokens-and-client-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.app.unleash-hosted.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Live from the Unleash API (*.app.unleash-hosted.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.getunleash.io/api/admin-api-overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.
What it is not
