What Userback (BYOK) is for

Userback (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Userback data through the Userback API with a key you supply (API access token (Premium plan, admin account)). Read-only: 8 tools (list_feedback, get_feedback, list_projects, get_project, list_members, list_workflows, list_session_recordings, get_session_recording). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to rest.userback.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Userback. Userback and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What bug reports did Userback collect recently?"
  • "Show me Userback feedback item 4455"
  • "Which Userback projects do I have?"
  • "Who are the members of Userback project 12?"
  • "Who has access to our Userback workspace?"
  • "What workflow stages does Userback use?"

What it does

  • list_feedback: List feedback items (bugs, ideas, general feedback and tasks) with type, priority, workflow stage, assignee and page URL. Paged, up to 50 per page.
  • get_feedback: Get one feedback item by id with its description, type, priority, workflow stage, assignee, votes and links.
  • list_projects: List the Userback projects (feedback widgets and surveys) with name, URL and archived flag.
  • get_project: Get one project with its type (feedback or survey) and its members.
  • list_members: List workspace members with name, role (Admin, Collaborator, Client, ExternalUser) and disabled flag.
  • list_workflows: List the workflow stages feedback items move through (for example Open, In progress, Done) with their order and colour.
  • list_session_recordings: List session recordings with duration, page domain, tag, location and share link.
  • get_session_recording: Get one session recording by id with its share link, duration, domain, tag and creation time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Userback API access token (Premium plan, admin account) (https://app.userback.io/account/api_token). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to rest.userback.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Userback API (rest.userback.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.userback.io/reference/overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Userback. Userback and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Userback account.
