What Vapi Reporting (BYOK) is for

Vapi Reporting (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Vapi Reporting data through the Vapi Reporting API with a key you supply (private API key). Read-only: 6 tools (list_insights, list_boards, list_scorecards, list_structured_outputs, list_campaigns, list_pronunciation_dictionaries). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.vapi.ai. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which saved Vapi insights do I have?"
  • "Which reporting dashboards exist in my Vapi account?"
  • "Which scorecards do I use to grade my Vapi calls?"
  • "What structured data does Vapi extract from my calls?"
  • "What is the status of my Vapi outbound campaigns?"
  • "Which pronunciation dictionaries has Vapi stored for my ElevenLabs voices?"

What it does

  • list_insights: List saved reporting insights (charts and metrics over your calls) with name, visualization type and timestamps.
  • list_boards: List reporting boards (dashboards) with name, layout column count and timestamps.
  • list_scorecards: List scorecards that score calls from structured outputs, with name, description, linked assistant ids and metrics.
  • list_structured_outputs: List structured output definitions (data extracted from calls) with name, description, type, regex, linked assistant and workflow ids and the JSON schema.
  • list_campaigns: List outbound call campaigns with name, status, end reason, assistant or squad, phone number, concurrency and optionally contact counters and call metrics.
  • list_pronunciation_dictionaries: List the ElevenLabs pronunciation dictionaries mirrored into Vapi with their provider resource id and data.

BYOK key

You bring your own Vapi Reporting private API key (https://dashboard.vapi.ai). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.vapi.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Read-only: lists definitions and campaign state only. It never places calls or starts campaigns, so it costs nothing.
