What Vero (BYOK) is for

Vero (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Vero data through the Vero API with a key you supply (Vero Campaigns API secret key (not the Track API key)). Read-only: 11 tools (list_broadcasts, get_broadcast, list_broadcast_messages, list_broadcast_message_contents, list_journeys, get_journey, list_journey_messages, list_journey_message_contents, list_topics, get_topic, get_campaign). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.getvero.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vero. Vero and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which broadcasts have I sent in Vero?"
  • "What is the status of Vero broadcast 4211?"
  • "Which message variants does Vero broadcast 4211 have?"
  • "What subject lines does Vero broadcast 4211 message 8120 use?"
  • "Which automated journeys are active in Vero?"
  • "What steps does Vero journey 977 contain?"

What it does

  • list_broadcasts: List broadcasts with name, channel, schedule type, status and labels, newest first.
  • get_broadcast: Get one broadcast with its name, channel, schedule type, status and labels.
  • list_broadcast_messages: List the messages (A/B test arms) of a broadcast with sender, reply-to and active flag.
  • list_broadcast_message_contents: List the localized contents of a broadcast message with locale, subject line and preheader text.
  • list_journeys: List triggered journeys with name, description and status, most recently updated first.
  • get_journey: Get a journey with its event trigger and the full graph of nodes (emails, delays, branches) and edges.
  • list_journey_messages: List the message nodes of a journey with sender, reply-to and their localized contents.
  • list_journey_message_contents: List the localized contents of a journey message with locale, subject line and preheader text.
  • list_topics: List preference center topics with name, description and default subscription status.
  • get_topic: Get one preference center topic with its name, description and default subscription status.
  • get_campaign: Get a legacy campaign with its title, status, channel and scheduled time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Vero Vero Campaigns API secret key (not the Track API key) (https://help.getvero.com/api-reference/overview). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.getvero.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Vero API (api.getvero.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://help.getvero.com/api-reference/overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vero. Vero and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Vero account.
