What Wafeq (BYOK) is for

Wafeq (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Wafeq data through the Wafeq API with a key you supply (Wafeq API key). Read-only: 9 tools (get_organization, list_contacts, list_invoices, list_bills, list_payments, list_quotes, list_items, list_accounts, list_tax_rates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.wafeq.com.   • "Which Wafeq organization is this key for and what is its base currency?"
  • "Find the Wafeq contact called Al Noor Trading"
  • "Which Wafeq invoices still have a balance?"
  • "Which Wafeq supplier bills are due this month?"
  • "What payments did Wafeq record on 2026-03-01?"
  • "What open quotes do I have in Wafeq?"

What it does

  • get_organization: Show the Wafeq organization the key belongs to: names (English and Arabic), base currency, branches, warehouses and user emails.
  • list_contacts: List Wafeq contacts (customers and suppliers) with name, email, phone, address and relationship. Paged.
  • list_invoices: List sales invoices with number, contact, dates, amount, balance, tax and status. Filter by contact, status or date.
  • list_bills: List supplier bills with number, contact, dates, amount, balance, tax and status.
  • list_payments: List recorded payments with date, amount, contact, payment type, fees and the account they went through.
  • list_quotes: List sales quotes with number, contact, date, amount, tax and status.
  • list_items: List products and services with SKU, price, cost, stock on hand and whether inventory is tracked.
  • list_accounts: List the chart of accounts with code, English and Arabic names, classification and whether posting is allowed.
  • list_tax_rates: List tax rates (VAT and similar) with name, percentage rate and tax type.

BYOK key

You bring your own Wafeq Wafeq API key (https://app.wafeq.com/c/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.wafeq.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
