What Yandex Metrika (BYOK) is for

Yandex Metrika (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Yandex Metrika data through the Yandex Metrika API with a key you supply (Yandex OAuth token with the metrika:read scope). Read-only: 6 tools (list_counters, get_counter, list_goals, list_labels, list_chart_annotations, get_report). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api-metrika.yandex.net. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Yandex Metrika. Yandex Metrika and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Yandex Metrika counters do I have?"
  • "Show details of Metrika counter 44147844"
  • "What goals are set up on Metrika counter 44147844?"
  • "Which Metrika labels do I have?"
  • "What chart notes exist on Metrika counter 44147844?"
  • "How many visits did Metrika counter 44147844 get per traffic source in the last week?"

What it does

  • list_counters: List the Metrika tags (counters) you own or can see with site, status, type, time zone and creation time.
  • get_counter: Get one Metrika tag by id with its site, status, type, time zone and creation time.
  • list_goals: List the goals of a Metrika tag with name, type, URL conditions and default price.
  • list_labels: List your labels used to group Metrika tags.
  • list_chart_annotations: List the notes added to the charts of a Metrika tag with date, time, title, message and group.
  • get_report: Get a table report from Metrika statistics for one or more tags: choose metrics (such as ym:s:visits, ym:s:users, ym:s:pageviews), optional dimensions (such as ym:s:trafficSourceName or ym:s:date), a period, filters and sorting. Session metrics start with ym:s:, hit metrics with ym:pv:; do not mix them.

BYOK key

You bring your own Yandex Metrika Yandex OAuth token with the metrika:read scope (https://yandex.com/dev/metrika/en/intro/authorization). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api-metrika.yandex.net over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Yandex Metrika API (api-metrika.yandex.net) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://yandex.com/dev/metrika/en/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Yandex Metrika. Yandex Metrika and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Yandex Metrika account.
