What ZeroTier (BYOK) is for
ZeroTier (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own ZeroTier data through the ZeroTier API with a key you supply (API access token). Read-only: 5 tools (get_status, list_networks, get_network, list_network_members, get_network_member). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.zerotier.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ZeroTier. ZeroTier and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which ZeroTier account is my token connected to?"
- "What ZeroTier networks do I have?"
- "Show details of this ZeroTier network"
- "Which devices are on my ZeroTier network?"
- "Show details of this ZeroTier device"
What it does
get_status: Show the ZeroTier Central account the token belongs to: user id, display name, read-only mode and API version. Email and tokens are not returned.list_networks: List the ZeroTier networks the token can access with name, privacy, MTU and online, authorized and total member counts.get_network: Get one ZeroTier network by id: name, privacy, MTU, broadcast flag, creation time and member counts.list_network_members: List the members (devices) of a ZeroTier network with name, authorization, managed IPs, last seen time and client version.get_network_member: Get one member (device) of a ZeroTier network: name, authorization, managed IPs, public address, last seen time and client version.
BYOK key
You bring your own ZeroTier API access token (https://my.zerotier.com/account). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.zerotier.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
This connector covers the Legacy Central API (personal API access tokens from my.zerotier.com). New Central service-account tokens use a different API and are not included.
