What Zuplo Platform (BYOK) is for

Zuplo Platform (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Zuplo Platform data through the Zuplo Platform API with a key you supply (Zuplo account API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_accounts, list_projects, list_environments, get_environment, list_deployments, get_deployment, get_deployment_status, list_custom_domains, list_tunnels, get_tunnel_services_configuration, list_client_mtls_ca_certificates, list_key_buckets). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to dev.zuplo.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Zuplo accounts can this API key see?"
  • "Which Zuplo projects do we have?"
  • "Which environments does the orders-gateway Zuplo project have?"
  • "Which branch is Zuplo environment orders-gateway-main-1a2b3c4 built from?"
  • "What are the latest Zuplo deployments of orders-gateway and did they succeed?"
  • "Is Zuplo deployment orders-gateway-main-1a2b3c4 live?"

What it does

  • list_accounts: List the Zuplo accounts the key can access with their names and labels.
  • list_projects: List Zuplo projects, optionally of one account.
  • list_environments: List the environments (branch deployments) of one Zuplo project with branch and environment type.
  • get_environment: Get one Zuplo environment by name: project, branch, type and creation time.
  • list_deployments: List the deployments of a Zuplo project with URL, state, branch, environment type and timestamps.
  • get_deployment: Get one Zuplo deployment: URL, state, status message, branch and environment type.
  • get_deployment_status: Get the progress of a Zuplo deployment build by its status id: overall status, URL and per-step state.
  • list_custom_domains: List the custom domains of a Zuplo account with the project, hostname and deployments they serve.
  • list_tunnels: List the secure tunnels of a Zuplo account (id and name only; tunnel tokens are never requested).
  • get_tunnel_services_configuration: Get the services a Zuplo tunnel exposes: name, endpoint and configuration version.
  • list_client_mtls_ca_certificates: List the client mTLS CA certificates registered for a Zuplo account with name and certificate summary.
  • list_key_buckets: List the API key service buckets of a Zuplo account with description, tags and whether keys are retrievable (no keys are returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own Zuplo Platform Zuplo account API key (https://portal.zuplo.com). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to dev.zuplo.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
