Canada Small Business Hub — Privacy Policy
Effective 29 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.
What Canada Small Business Hub is. Canada Small Business Hub is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants call on your behalf: One connector for a Canadian small business: what is due, what changed, thresholds, first hire costs, invoices, tenders, supplier checks, funding and late-payment interest, every figure sourced and dated. You talk to your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one request.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Nothing is stored. Most tools are a local calculation or a lookup against bundled reference data. A few tools also read public Canadian government sources live; they are listed in the next paragraph. Arguments are used for that one response and are not logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
Live public sources (what a call sends). boc_convert_amount asks the Bank of Canada Valet API (www.bankofcanada.ca) for the exchange-rate series of the currency pair and a date window; the amount is never sent. bids_search_open_tenders, grow_with_bids and the award checks of supplier_check read the CanadaBuys open tender and award notice files (canadabuys.canada.ca; the dataset pages are at open.canada.ca and the data dictionary at donnees-data.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca): these are files at fixed public addresses that our server downloads and searches itself, so no keyword, tender number, UNSPSC code, region, business number or supplier name is sent. funding_check reads the Business Benefits Finder dataset (open.canada.ca: the dataset record, requested by its dataset identifier, and the dataset file) and may read the Bank of Canada prime-rate series (www.bankofcanada.ca, most recent observation); nothing from the profile or the request is sent. monday_brief and whats_changing, when check_live_rates is true (the default), read the CRA open GST/HST rate table (open.canada.ca, a file at a fixed address). Each of these requests comes from our server: the source sees our server's address and a User-Agent naming this connector, its version, its site and its contact, never anything that identifies you and never the host agent's user identifier. A source that does not answer is reported in the answer (not_checked); the other tools make no outbound request.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts or account credentials, and we build no profile: each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting access logs (IP addresses and request paths, not request bodies) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors and recipients. No other sub-processor. The public Canadian government sources named above receive only the lookup values described there, and no personal data. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Your rights. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.
Children. Canada Small Business Hub is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
