Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
claim_filing_checklistclaim_denial_reasonsappeal_process_guideappeal_deadline_estimateclaimkit_glossaryclaim_filing_checklistClaimKit is an insurance-claim filing toolkit. claim_filing_checklist gives a step-by-step filing checklist, documentation typically needed, and a typical stage-by-stage timeline for auto accident, home/property damage, health, life, or travel claims. claim_denial_reasons lists common reasons claims get denied or delayed, generally and by claim type. appeal_process_guide walks through the general appeal process plus tips per claim type. appeal_deadline_estimate computes an estimated appeal deadline from a denial date using a typical internal-appeal window for that claim type -- real date arithmetic, illustrative rather than a specific insurer's actual deadline. claimkit_glossary defines claims-process terms: adjuster, proof of loss, appraisal clause, EOB, internal vs external appeal, bad faith claim, and more. General educational guidance, not insurance or legal advice.
Sources: Computed and looked up locally from a bundled, hand-curated claims-filing and appeals reference dataset; the appeal-deadline estimate uses typical, illustrative internal-appeal windows by claim type -- fully local, zero upstream calls

"What do I need to file an auto accident claim", "why do health insurance claims get denied", "how do I appeal a denied claim", "my health claim was denied on June 1st, when's my appeal deadline" — the practical, step-by-step questions people have in the middle of actually filing or fighting an insurance claim, not just understanding the jargon.
claim_filing_checklist gives a step-by-step filing checklist, the documentation typically needed, and a
typical stage-by-stage timeline for five claim types: auto accident, home/property damage, health, life, and
travel. claim_denial_reasons lists the most common reasons claims get denied or delayed, both generally
(missed deadlines, incomplete documentation, lapsed premiums) and specific to each claim type (fault disputes
for auto, flood exclusions for home, missing prior authorization for health, contestability-period issues for
life, pre-existing-condition exclusions for travel). appeal_process_guide walks through the general appeal
process — requesting the written denial reason, re-reading the specific policy language cited, submitting
within the window, escalating to external review or a regulator — plus tips specific to each claim type.
appeal_deadline_estimate takes a claim type and a denial date and computes an estimated appeal deadline using
a typical internal-appeal window for that claim type (e.g. the 180-day window common to US group health plan
appeals under ERISA), with real date arithmetic. claimkit_glossary defines the process terms that come up
along the way: adjuster, proof of loss, appraisal clause, EOB, internal vs. external appeal, bad faith claim.
Not insurance or legal advice, and not a substitute for your actual policy documents, your insurer's specific claims procedures, or a licensed attorney or insurance professional. The appeal-deadline estimate uses a TYPICAL window for illustration — it is not your actual deadline, which is stated in your denial letter and can vary by insurer, state, and policy. Filing steps and documentation lists describe common, general practice and may not match every insurer's exact process.

What ClaimKit is. ClaimKit is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to retrieve claim-filing checklists, denial-reason and appeal guidance, or compute an illustrative appeal deadline. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only what's needed for that one request.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a claim type (e.g. auto_accident, health) and, for the deadline estimator, a denial date — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed or looked up locally from bundled guidance, and nothing is stored. There is no upstream call of any kind — the checklists, denial reasons, and appeal guidance are a bundled reference dataset, and the deadline estimate is plain date arithmetic — and no request, including any date you enter, is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your actual policy number, insurer name, claim number, or any medical, financial, or other details about your actual claim, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed or looked up locally from a bundled dataset with no upstream call. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. ClaimKit is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the ClaimKit connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").
appeal_deadline_estimate uses a typical
internal-appeal window for a general claim type — it is not, and cannot be, your actual contractual or
legal deadline, which depends on your specific insurer, policy, state, and the denial letter you received.
Always use the deadline stated in your own denial letter.Email agent@connectorbay.com. We answer within two business days.
