Credit-score factors, a real utilization calculator, and FICO/VantageScore ranges — education only
Unify Dynamics LLC
Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
credit_score_factorscredit_utilization_calculatorcredit_score_range_referencecredit_myths_vs_factsCreditedu puts standard credit-education reference material and a real utilization calculator behind one connector. Credit score factors: the 5 major FICO scoring categories — payment history (~35%), amounts owed/utilization (~30%), length of credit history (~15%), credit mix (~10%), new credit (~10%) — each explained with concrete tips. Credit utilization calculator: given a list of accounts (balance, limit), computes the real per-account and overall utilization ratio and flags common thresholds (under 10%, under 30%, over 50%, over 90%, over the limit) — arithmetic over the numbers you provide, one input to a real score, never a substitute for one. Credit score range reference: the standard published tiers for FICO and VantageScore (both 300-850). Myths vs. facts: corrects common misconceptions about checking your own score, carrying a balance, closing old cards, debit cards, and joint scores. This connector never accepts a full credit history and never produces a number labeled as a score — for an actual credit score, use a source your card issuer, bank, or lender provides.
Sources: Standard, published scoring-model reference information (FICO factor weights and score ranges; VantageScore ranges), bundled as static reference data; the utilization calculator is arithmetic computed locally from the numbers the caller supplies — nothing fetched, nothing stored
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

"What are the 5 factors that make up a credit score", "what's my utilization if I owe $2,000 on a $10,000-limit card and $500 on a $1,000-limit card", "what are the FICO score ranges", "does checking my own score hurt it" — the credit-education questions people ask before or instead of paying for a credit-monitoring product. Creditedu answers them with standard, published reference information and real utilization arithmetic — no upstream calls, no accounts, nothing stored.
Credit score factors. The 5 major FICO scoring factor categories and their approximate weights — payment history (~35%), amounts owed / credit utilization (~30%), length of credit history (~15%), credit mix (~10%), and new credit (~10%) — each with a plain-language explanation and concrete tips.
Credit utilization calculator. Given a list of accounts (balance, limit), computes the real utilization ratio per account and overall, flags common thresholds (under 10%, under 30%, over 50%, over 90%, over the limit), and identifies the single highest-utilization account. This is arithmetic over the numbers you provide — one input to a real credit score, never a stand-in for one.
Credit score range reference. The standard, published score-range tiers for FICO (300-850: Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, Exceptional) and VantageScore (300-850: Very Poor, Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent).
Myths vs. facts. Corrects common misconceptions: checking your own score, carrying a balance to "build" credit, closing old cards, debit cards and credit-building, joint scores for married couples, and more.
Not a credit report, not a credit score, and not personalized financial advice. Creditedu has no access to your credit report and cannot compute, estimate, or predict your actual credit score under any scoring model — no tool here accepts a full credit history or produces a number labeled as a score. For your real score and report, use a source your card issuer, bank, or lender provides, or annualcreditreport.com for your free reports.

What Creditedu is. Creditedu is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for general credit education: scoring-factor explanations, a utilization calculator, score- range references, and a myths-vs-facts glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers needed for that one calculation, if any.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — for the utilization calculator, account balances and credit limits and any labels you choose for them (e.g. "Card A"); for the reference tools, only a lookup term or nothing at all — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. The utilization calculator performs plain arithmetic over the balances and limits you provide in that single request; the reference tools return bundled, static content. Creditedu never receives, requests, or has access to your actual credit report, credit score, or any credit-bureau data — it cannot look any of that up even if asked. No request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any balance or limit you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, account numbers, Social Security number, or any other identifying information, and we do not build a credit profile from your queries: each calculation is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed or served locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Creditedu is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
