Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
certification_requirementsrecurrency_requirementsregistration_requirementsremote_id_basicsrecreational_vs_commercialairspace_authorization_basicsnight_and_over_people_basicsno_fly_zone_explainerpreflight_checklistdrone107_glossaryDrone107 is a fully local US FAA Part 107 drone-rules reference — every fact was checked directly against live FAA.gov pages on 25 September 2026 and is cited with its source page and check date. certification_requirements covers who needs a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and the eligibility requirements (16+, English, physical/mental condition, the UAG knowledge test, TSA vetting). recurrency_requirements covers the 24-month recurrent training requirement. registration_requirements covers the 250g/0.55lb weight threshold, the $5 fee, 3-year validity, and labeling. remote_id_basics covers the Remote ID broadcast requirement and how to comply. recreational_vs_commercial explains the TRUST-based recreational exception (49 U.S.C. § 44809) versus full Part 107 certification. airspace_authorization_basics explains LAANC — what it is, its 726-airport coverage, and how Part 107 pilots use it. night_and_over_people_basics covers the 2021 rule letting Part 107 pilots fly at night and over people/moving vehicles without a waiver when they meet the rule's requirements. no_fly_zone_explainer breaks down permanently restricted airspace, TFRs, national security UAS restrictions, and local takeoff/landing restrictions, and how to check them via B4UFLY. preflight_checklist gives a practical pre-flight checklist. drone107_glossary defines terms like UAS, LAANC, TFR, VLOS, BVLOS, TRUST, Remote ID and FRIA. Keyless; zero upstream calls at request time; nothing stored. General information, not legal advice — the FAA updates its rules over time, so always verify current requirements on faa.gov before flying.
Sources: Every fact checked live against FAA.gov (become_a_drone_pilot, getting_started/register_drone, recreational_flyers, getting_started/laanc, commercial_operators, resources/community_engagement/no_drone_zone) on 25 September 2026 and cited with its source page; fully local at request time, zero upstream calls per query.

Not legal advice, and not a replacement for checking FAA.gov yourself before flying. The FAA updates Part 107 and related rules from time to time — every fact here was checked live on 25 September 2026 and is cited with its exact source page, so you can verify it's still current before relying on it for a certification deadline, registration, or enforcement-sensitive decision.

What Drone107 is. Drone107 is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a US FAA Part 107 drone-rules reference — certification, registration, Remote ID, airspace authorization, and no-fly-zone concepts. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (most tools take no arguments at all; a few take a glossary term), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from a bundled, live-verified reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party at query time — there is no upstream call at all when you use the Service — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. (The reference data itself was compiled by checking live FAA.gov pages during development, not at query time.)
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Drone107 is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
