Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_sessionsubmit_answernew_roundsubmit_answerget_hintsession_statstopic_inforules_infoFactorFib is a fully local, playable number-theory quiz game. new_session starts a session with a chosen difficulty (easy/medium/hard) and optional topic subset from is_prime, factorize, next_fibonacci, gcd_lcm, and perfect_number, generating its first challenge. submit_answer grades your answer against the real computed result and updates score, streak, best streak and accuracy; get_hint gives a real escalating hint at a points cost; new_round moves on. session_stats reports your tally and topic_info/rules_info explain the topics and exact scoring formula. Stateless -- no server-side session storage, the caller passes state between calls. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Original, hand-authored content. Fully local, zero upstream calls.

A fully local, PLAYABLE number-theory quiz game — genuine primality checks, prime factorization, Fibonacci-sequence challenges, GCD/LCM problems, and perfect-number checks, every one computed with real number theory rather than a lookup table.
new_session starts a session at a chosen difficulty (and optional topic subset) and generates its first
challenge. Five topics: is_prime (real trial division up to sqrt(n)), factorize (the full prime
factorization, with repetition), next_fibonacci (predict the next real Fibonacci term), gcd_lcm (the
real Euclidean algorithm), and perfect_number (is the number equal to the sum of its own proper
divisors?). submit_answer grades your answer against the actually-computed correct value, awards points
(minus a per-hint penalty computed exactly), and tracks score, streak, best streak, and accuracy.
get_hint gives a real, escalating hint — a technique nudge first, then a concrete partial fact about the
current number — never the final answer. new_round moves on to a fresh challenge. session_stats and
topic_info/rules_info round it out.
There is no server-side session storage. Every call takes the full session state (the exact object
returned by the previous call) and returns a new one. The current challenge's real answer necessarily
lives inside state — don't print the raw state to the player, only the prompt field.
Not a static trivia list — every number, factorization, Fibonacci term, GCD/LCM, and perfect-number verdict is computed live by real algorithms (trial division, the Euclidean algorithm, iterative Fibonacci generation), so difficulty genuinely scales with number size rather than picking from a fixed question bank.

What FactorFib is. FactorFib is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a local number-theory quiz game — generating challenges, checking answers, and computing hints and scores.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — the session state you (via your assistant) pass back on every call, your submitted answers, and the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one) — plus standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored. FactorFib has no database and no server-side session storage of any kind. The entire session state — including the current challenge's answer — lives only in your conversation with your assistant, which passes it back to us on each call and receives an updated copy in the response. We do not persist it, log it, or use it for anything beyond computing that one response. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your name, your conversation with the assistant beyond the bare session-state argument, or anything else about you. Each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs (IP addresses and request paths, not request bodies) are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — computation is entirely local to this server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. FactorFib is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
