Computed Pomodoro/deep-work/timebox schedules, plus honest explanations of focus techniques

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.

Non-diagnostic, general productivity guidance only. Keyless; nothing stored.
Sources: Schedule math is exact local computation; technique explanations are hand-curated summaries of widely-published concepts (Cirillo's Pomodoro Technique, Cal Newport's Deep Work, the informal 52/17 productivity-app finding, ultradian rhythm research), with certainty flagged per technique; fully local, zero upstream calls
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

"Give me a pomodoro schedule for 2 hours", "how many pomodoros for a 90-minute task", "explain the 52/17 rule", "plan a deep work morning from 9am for 3 hours" — the schedule math done for you, plus honest explanations of where these techniques actually come from.
pomodoro_schedule computes a full work/short-break/long-break sequence for a total duration (defaults: 25-minute
work blocks, 5-minute short breaks, a 15-minute long break every 4 cycles), with exact minute offsets and, if you
give a start time, real clock times. timebox_schedule sequences a list of your own named tasks with given minutes
into a schedule. deep_work_block_plan computes larger protected work blocks with breaks, and flags a trailing
block too short to be worth running. session_count_for_task computes exactly how many pomodoros a task needs and
the total time including every break in between — not just a rough division. daily_focus_plan computes a full
schedule for however much time you have, using either technique. technique_explainer and technique_list cover
five established approaches — Pomodoro, timeboxing, deep work, the 52/17 rule, and ultradian-rhythm blocks — each
with its actual origin and appropriate hedging on how solid the underlying claim is. break_activity_suggestion
and focus_environment_checklist round out the practical side, and procrastination_tip gives a well-known
heuristic, picking the most relevant one if you describe what you're stuck on.
This is general productivity guidance, not medical, psychological, or diagnostic advice, and it makes no claims about your own attention span, focus capacity, or any health condition. The 52/17 rule in particular is flagged as an informal pattern from one dataset, not a validated law — and "ultradian rhythm" describes a general physiological concept, not a personalized measurement of your own cycle. All schedule math is exact and independently checkable; the technique explanations are hand-curated summaries of widely published ideas.

What Focusblock is. Focusblock is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for computed focus-session schedule math (Pomodoro, timeboxing, deep work) and hand-curated explanations of established focus techniques. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one request.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a duration, a list of tasks with minutes, a technique name, or context for a procrastination tip — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Every tool is a local calculation or a lookup against a bundled, hand-curated reference; no request is forwarded to any third party. Text you submit is processed for that one response and is not logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or account credentials, and we do not build a profile from your requests: each one is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed or looked up locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Focusblock is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
