About

Ginti is a fully local, hand-curated pan-India numbers reference. number_word gives one number (1-20, or any multiple of ten through 100) in a chosen language's native script, transliteration, and English. count_range lists every available number word across a start-end range in one language. place_value_terms gives that language's word for hundred, thousand, lakh (100,000) and crore (10,000,000). ordinal_numbers gives first through fifth in a chosen language. compare_across_languages shows one number across all 12 languages side by side. number_fact gives a short, verified fact about Indian numbering, numerals or number words. language_list lists all 12 languages with script. ginti_glossary defines terms used throughout (lakh, crore, ordinal, Hindustani, and more). Coverage is intentionally uniform: every language has 1-20 plus every multiple of ten through 100 verified, and a number outside that set returns available: false rather than a guess. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls.

Sources: Hand-curated and cross-checked against Wikipedia's numerals articles (Hindustani, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Gurmukhi, Gujarati, Malayalam) and independent language-learning references for each of the 12 covered languages, written and verified as of build date; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Ginti (India Numbers) is for

The question that comes up the moment counting crosses an Indian language — how do you say "seventy" in Kannada, what's the word for "lakh" in Telugu, is "third" the same shape in Punjabi as in Hindi — answered from one hand-curated, consistently-verified reference, rather than a pile of inconsistent flashcard sites.

What it does

Number words in native script, transliteration and English for all 12 major regional languages named in India's constitution that this connector covers — Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi and Assamese — covering 1-20 and every multiple of ten through 100 for every language (number_word, count_range); each language's word for hundred, thousand, lakh (100,000) and crore (10,000,000), the larger place values of the Indian numbering system (place_value_terms); ordinal numbers first through fifth (ordinal_numbers); a side-by-side comparison of one number across all 12 languages at once (compare_across_languages); short, verified facts about Indian numbering and numeral history (number_fact); the full language list (language_list); and a glossary of numbering terms (ginti_glossary).

What it is not

Not a claim that every number from 1 to 100 is available in every language — it isn't, on purpose. Verified coverage is deliberately uniform: 1-20 plus every multiple of ten through 100 (28 numbers) for each of the 12 languages, and ordinals covering 1st-5th for each. A number outside that set, like 47, returns available: false rather than a guessed word constructed from patterns that don't reliably hold across all these languages — several of them (Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, and Urdu, which shares Hindi's number words) have distinct, often irregular words for most two-digit numbers rather than a fully predictable pattern, so guessing would risk teaching a wrong word with false confidence. No language was given deeper coverage than another just because more source material happened to be available for it. Fully local, zero upstream calls, nothing stored.

Tools

Numbers

number_word — One number's native script, transliteration and English, in a chosen language. Verified coverage is 1-20 plus every multiple of ten through 100; other numbers (like 47) return available: false rather than a guess — use count_range to see what's covered nearby. Use for "how do you say seven in Kannada", "what's 'sixty' in Odia". Args: number, language.

count_range — Lists every number from start to end (inclusive, max 30 at a time) in a chosen language, each with native script and transliteration where verified, or available: false where it isn't. Use for "count from 1 to 10 in Marathi", "list the Gujarati numbers from 90 to 100". Args: start, end, language.

compare_across_languages — One number shown across all 12 languages side by side, each with native script and transliteration where verified. Use for "show me the number 20 in every language", "compare 'hundred' across all 12 scripts". Args: number.

Place Value & Ordinals

place_value_terms — A language's word for hundred, thousand, lakh (100,000) and crore (10,000,000) — the larger place values of the Indian numbering system, each with native script and transliteration. Use for "how do you say 'crore' in Kannada", "what's the word for lakh in Punjabi". Args: language.

ordinal_numbers — First through fifth in a chosen language, native script plus transliteration. Use for "what's 'first' in Odia", "give me the ordinal numbers in Punjabi". Args: language.

Reference

number_fact — A short, verified fact about Indian numbering, numerals or number words — picked at random each call. Use for "tell me something interesting about Indian numbers".

language_list — Every one of the 12 covered languages with its script. Use for "which languages does this cover".

ginti_glossary — Definitions of numbering terms used throughout — cardinal number, ordinal number, lakh, crore, Indian numbering system, native digit glyphs, Hindustani, place value. Use for "what's a lakh", "what does the Indian numbering system mean". Args: term.

Conventions

  • Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
  • Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
  • Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Privacy policy

Ginti (India Numbers) — Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Ginti (India Numbers) is. Ginti is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated pan-India numbers reference: number words, place-value terms, ordinals, and a side-by-side cross-language number comparison across 12 Indian languages. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a number, a language name, a range, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Ginti (India Numbers) is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Ginti (India Numbers) — Terms of Service

Effective 25 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Ginti (India Numbers) connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Ginti returns a hand-curated pan-India numbers reference — number words 1-20 and every multiple of ten through 100, lakh/crore place-value terms, ordinals, and a side-by-side cross-language number comparison — across Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi and Assamese, from data curated and verified as of the build date stated in its own data. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. A reference, not a lesson or a claim of completeness. Ginti is an independent reference tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by any government, institution, or organization. Verified number coverage is intentionally uniform and partial (1-20 plus multiples of ten through 100, per language) rather than a claim that every number 1-100 is available — a number outside that set returns available: false rather than a guess.
  3. Languages span communities. Every language covered here is spoken across multiple faiths and regions; this Service does not treat any of them as belonging to one community.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
