About

Kannada Riddles is a hand-curated reference of 37 traditional Kannada folk riddles and 10 tongue twisters. riddle_of_the_day returns one deterministic pick for a given or today's date. random_riddle returns one at random, with the answer optionally hidden for guessing. riddles_by_category lists every riddle in one category (Nature & Sky, Animals & Insects, Household & Everyday Objects, Food, Body & People, Plants & Fruit). search_riddles does a keyword search across question, answer and explanation. tongue_twisters lists every Kannada tongue twister with its transliteration and English gloss. check_answer fuzzy-matches a guessed answer against a riddle's real answer, tolerant of minor spelling differences. categories_list lists every category with its riddle count. explain_wordplay gives the pun, image or misdirection behind a riddle's answer. These are traditional folk riddles passed down through generations, not attributed to any single author; humor here comes from wordplay and wit, never from stereotypes about any group of people. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls.

Sources: Hand-curated and cross-checked against published Kannada-language riddle and tongue-twister collections (vishaya.in's Kannada ogatugalu collection, dearkannada.com's tongue-twister collection, and others), written and verified as of build date; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Kannada Riddles is for

Kannada folk riddles (ಒಗಟು) are little puzzles built from image and wordplay -- "a white fish in a blue pond," "a black stone on a white stone" -- that are genuinely fun to guess but rarely collected anywhere with a real explanation of how the wordplay works. Kannada Riddles answers that from one hand-curated, cross-checked reference.

What it does

37 traditional Kannada folk riddles and 10 tongue twisters, each in real Kannada script with a romanized transliteration and an English answer, grouped into six categories -- Nature & Sky, Animals & Insects, Household & Everyday Objects, Food, Body & People, and Plants & Fruit (riddles_by_category, categories_list); a riddle of the day (riddle_of_the_day) and a random pick with the answer optionally hidden so you can guess first (random_riddle); keyword search (search_riddles); every tongue twister with its transliteration and gloss (tongue_twisters); a fuzzy answer-checker tolerant of minor spelling differences (check_answer); and an explanation of the actual wordplay, pun or misdirection behind each answer (explain_wordplay).

What it is not

Not a joke collection built on stereotypes -- every riddle here works through wordplay, imagery or clever misdirection about an object, animal, or natural phenomenon, never through characterizing any group of people. These are traditional folk riddles and tongue twisters passed down through generations, not attributed to any single author. Fully local, zero upstream calls, nothing stored.

Tools

Play

riddle_of_the_day — One Kannada folk riddle picked deterministically for the given (or today's) date, answer included. Use for "Kannada riddle of the day". Args: on_date.

check_answer — Fuzzy-checks a guessed answer against a riddle's real answer, tolerant of minor spelling differences or a partial answer. Use for "is the answer to this riddle a coconut", "check my guess for this Kannada riddle". Args: riddle, guess.

Browse & search

Conventions

  • Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
  • Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
  • Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Kannada Riddles — Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Kannada Riddles is. Kannada Riddles is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated reference of Kannada folk riddles and tongue twisters — each in real Kannada script with a romanized transliteration and an English answer or meaning. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a riddle's id, a category name, or a guessed answer to check — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Kannada Riddles is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
