Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
tips_by_categorytip_searchcategory_listrandom_tipcommunication_cadence_guidevisit_planning_checklisttimezone_coordination_notevirtual_date_ideasdiscussion_promptsdays_until_visitLong Distance is a fully local, hand-curated long-distance-relationship tips guide. tips_by_category returns practical tips for one of six categories (communication, visits, trust, independence, technology, milestones); tip_search does a keyword search; category_list shows all six with counts; random_tip gives one random pick. communication_cadence_guide describes light/moderate/heavy contact patterns and what tends to fit each, with a note that the right cadence is whatever both partners agree on. visit_planning_checklist gives a staged checklist from as-soon-as-possible planning through after the visit. timezone_coordination_note gives general coordination habits and points to a dedicated time-zone connector (like Tempo or Meetzone) for the actual time-zone math rather than duplicating it. virtual_date_ideas gives activities to do together remotely. discussion_prompts gives open-ended questions for a couple to talk through how the distance is going. days_until_visit is a pure-compute calculator for days and weeks until (or since) a visit date. These are general, practical starting points, not relationship advice from an authority figure. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Hand-curated from widely-cited general long-distance-relationship practice; the days-until-visit calculator is exact local date arithmetic. Fully local, zero upstream calls. Actual time-zone conversion is intentionally left to dedicated connectors (Tempo, Meetzone) rather than duplicated here.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

tips_by_category returns practical tips for one of six categories — communication, visits, trust, independence,
technology, milestones. tip_search finds tips by keyword; category_list shows all six with counts; random_tip
gives one random pick. communication_cadence_guide describes light, moderate, and heavy contact patterns and what
situations each tends to fit, with an explicit note that the right cadence is whatever both partners agree on —
not a universal number. visit_planning_checklist gives a staged checklist from as-soon-as-possible planning
through after the visit. timezone_coordination_note covers general coordination habits and points to a dedicated
time-zone connector (like Tempo or Meetzone) for the actual conversion math, rather than duplicating that
computation here. virtual_date_ideas gives activities to do "together" while apart. discussion_prompts gives
open-ended questions for a couple to talk through how the distance is actually going. days_until_visit is a
pure-compute calculator for days and weeks until — or since — a given visit date.
Not relationship advice from an authority figure, and not a substitute for talking directly with your partner about what actually works for the two of you. Every long-distance relationship is different — these are general, practical starting points meant to be adapted, not a rulebook to follow exactly.

What Long Distance is. Long Distance is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local, hand-curated long-distance-relationship tips guide — tips by category, a communication-cadence guide, a visit-planning checklist, virtual date ideas, discussion prompts, and a days-until-visit calculator. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a category, a search keyword, a communication intensity level, a visit-planning stage, or a date for the visit calculator — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from bundled, hand-curated content and computed locally, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. A visit date you enter for the calculator is used only to compute the response and is never saved.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, or any detail about your partner or relationship beyond the generic category or date you provide. Each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire content bank is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Long Distance is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
