About

Lucha (Wrestling) is a fully local Lucha Libre (Mexican professional wrestling) history and cultural reference. history_overview covers the sport's documented origins and its 1933 formal organization as EMLL (today's CMLL). move_glossary explains technical Spanish move terminology (quebradora, plancha, tope/tope suicida, huracanrana, tijera, castigada, llave). mask_tradition_guide covers the cultural significance of the mask and the lucha de apuestas wager tradition, documented from 1940. role_explainer covers the técnico vs rudo dynamic and the exótico character category. legendary_figures gives factual bios of six historically significant, largely retired-or-deceased figures (El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Máscaras, Rayo de Jalisco Sr., Gory Guerrero, Perro Aguayo). promotion_history covers CMLL and AAA's organizational history. weight_classes lists the traditional weight-class system. match_types explains lucha de apuestas, torneo cibernético, trios, relevos australianos and jaula (cage match) rules. lucha_glossary defines about a dozen core terms. Keyless; fully local, zero upstream calls; a historical/cultural reference covering the sport's real history and vocabulary, not any promotion's current storylines or characters.

Sources: Hand-curated from public reporting (Wikipedia, Luchawiki, contemporaneous news coverage) as of build date; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Lucha (Wrestling) is for

"Lucha" is the everyday Spanish word for "fight" or "wrestling match" — a deliberately generic name with no tie to any promotion, wrestler or commercial brand. The question that comes up in every Lucha Libre conversation — how did this all start, why do luchadores wear masks, what's a huracanrana, what's the difference between a técnico and a rudo — answered from one hand-curated, verified reference, not a scroll through fan wikis and forum threads.

What it does

The documented history of Lucha Libre, from its late-19th-century origins through the 1933 founding of EMLL (today's CMLL) and on into the sport's mask-driven golden age (history_overview); explanations of technical Spanish move terminology used internationally in the sport — quebradora, plancha, tope/tope suicida, huracanrana, tijera, castigada, llave (move_glossary); the cultural significance of the luchador mask and the lucha de apuestas (mask-vs-mask, mask-vs-hair) wager tradition, including its documented 1940 origin and the gravity of losing a mask match (mask_tradition_guide); the técnico (hero) vs rudo (villain) dynamic and the exótico character category (role_explainer); brief, factual, encyclopedia-style profiles of six historically significant, largely retired-or-deceased figures — El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Máscaras, Rayo de Jalisco Sr., Gory Guerrero, and Perro Aguayo (legendary_figures); organizational history for CMLL (founded 1933 as EMLL) and AAA (founded 1992) (promotion_history); the sport's traditional weight-class system, from Peso Completo down to Mini- and Micro-Estrella (weight_classes); rules explainers for lucha de apuestas, torneo cibernético, trios, relevos australianos and jaula/cage matches (match_types); and a glossary of roughly a dozen core terms — rudo, técnico, exótico, máscara, cabellera, arena, réferi, caída, campeonato, apuesta, mascota, luchador (lucha_glossary).

What it is not — and the line it draws deliberately

Lucha (Wrestling) covers the sport as an art form and its well-documented historical and cultural facts: real figures who are historically significant, largely retired or deceased (El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Máscaras and others), and the real, organizational history of promotions like CMLL and AAA — the same way a football or cricket history reference discusses real historical matches and players. It deliberately does not cover any promotion's currently active roster, storylines, feuds, or character gimmicks — those are contemporary creative works, owned and copyrighted by the promotions that produce them, not underlying historical facts. It also carries no promotion logo or branding imagery; masks and marks described here are historical or generic, never reproductions of any specific promotion's or living, active wrestler's trademarked design. This is a historical and cultural reference, verified against public reporting as of the build date stated in its own data — not a live-results tracker or a source for what any promotion is airing this week. For current shows, rosters, or storylines, check that promotion's own official channels.

  • Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
  • Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
  • Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Lucha (Wrestling) — Privacy Policy

Effective 24 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Lucha (Wrestling) is. Lucha (Wrestling) is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local Lucha Libre history and cultural reference: the sport's origins and evolution, mask tradition, técnico/rudo role dynamics, move vocabulary, weight classes, match-type rules, legendary retired/deceased figures, and major promotion history. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a move name, a role, a luchador's name, a promotion name, a match type, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Lucha (Wrestling) is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Lucha (Wrestling) — Terms of Service

Effective 24 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Lucha (Wrestling) connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Lucha (Wrestling) returns a fully local Lucha Libre (Mexican professional wrestling) history and cultural reference — origins and evolution, mask tradition, técnico/rudo role dynamics, move vocabulary, weight classes, match-type rules, legendary retired/deceased figures, and major promotion history — from data hand-curated and verified against public reporting at build time. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not a live-results tracker, and not official. The Service is an independent historical and cultural reference, not affiliated with or endorsed by CMLL, AAA, any other promotion, or any wrestler, living or deceased. It does not provide live results, current storylines, or roster news, and nothing in the Service should be relied on for wagering decisions.
  3. History and vocabulary only — no current storylines or logos. The Service covers the sport's documented, real-world history and terminology: retired or deceased historical figures, organizational facts about promotions, and generic move/rules vocabulary. It does not cover any promotion's currently active roster, storylines, feuds, or character gimmicks, which are that promotion's own copyrighted creative content. It does not reproduce any promotion's logo, branding, or a specific real luchador's trademarked mask design, and its icon is an original, generic design unrelated to any real promotion or wrestler's mark.
  4. Facts change. Historical facts reflect public reporting as of the build date stated in the Service's own data; always check a promotion's own official source for anything current.
  5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
