Non-diagnostic postpartum recovery timeline, seek-care warning signs, mood-disorder awareness and self-care reference

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
recovery_timelineseek_care_guidanceseek_care_guidanceself_care_guidancepostpartum_glossaryPostpartum extends this catalogue's careful, non-diagnostic reproductive-health framing (see Cradle's pregnancy content) to the period after birth. recovery_timeline places a person on a general physical-recovery timeline — bleeding and uterine involution, healing, energy and mood, activity, typical provider contact — from a delivery date or directly from days/weeks postpartum, spanning the first year. seek_care_guidance gives emergency warning signs (postpartum haemorrhage, blood clots, pre-eclampsia, the rare emergency of postpartum psychosis), same-day-call signs (infection, mastitis, a worsening mood), general perinatal mood-disorder awareness distinguishing baby blues, postpartum depression/anxiety and postpartum psychosis purely as definitions, and real resources including the U.S. National Maternal Mental Health Hotline (1-833-9-HELP4MOMS) and the 988 crisis line. self_care_guidance gives general rest, nutrition, healing, pelvic-floor and emotional-support guidance, narrowed to a point in recovery on request. postpartum_glossary defines terms used elsewhere. Every answer is general educational information, never a diagnosis or an assessment of any individual, and always deferential to the person's own obstetrician, midwife or doctor. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls.
Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated educational reference condensed from general-consensus obstetric patient-education guidance (ACOG/NHS/WHO-style) and the U.S. HRSA National Maternal Mental Health Hotline; fully local, zero upstream calls

"What's normal in the first week after birth", "when should I worry about bleeding after birth", "is it normal to still feel this tired at 3 months postpartum", "what's the difference between baby blues and postpartum depression" — a general, non-diagnostic educational reference for the postpartum period, extending the same careful framing this catalogue uses for pregnancy reference content.
recovery_timeline gives the general physical-recovery picture (bleeding and uterus, healing, energy and mood,
activity, typical provider contact) for a point in the first year after birth, placed either from a delivery
date (with a reference date, default today) or directly from days or weeks postpartum. seek_care_guidance
gives the when-to-seek-care reference: emergency warning signs (postpartum haemorrhage, blood clots,
pre-eclampsia, the rare emergency of postpartum psychosis), same-day-call signs (infection, mastitis, worsening
mood), general perinatal mood-disorder awareness — baby blues, postpartum depression/anxiety and postpartum
psychosis defined and distinguished, purely as education, never as an assessment of any individual — and real
support resources including the U.S. National Maternal Mental Health Hotline and the 988 crisis line.
self_care_guidance gives general self-care and rest guidance (accepting help, nutrition, perineal or
incision care, pelvic floor work, returning to exercise, emotional connection, professional check-ins),
optionally narrowed to what's most relevant at a given point in recovery. postpartum_glossary defines terms
used elsewhere.
Not a diagnosis, not an assessment of anyone's physical or mental health, and not a substitute for your own obstetrician, midwife or doctor. Every recovery is individual — these are general ranges from widely published patient-education guidance, not a schedule any particular body has to follow. Nothing distinguishes a normal variation from a problem in your specific case; if anything feels wrong, or a warning sign matches, talking to your own provider (or, for an emergency, calling your local emergency number right away) is always the right next step, regardless of what timeline this reference suggests. Nothing you enter is stored.

What Postpartum is. Postpartum is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, general educational reference about the postpartum period — a recovery timeline, a when-to-seek-care reference, self-care guidance, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a delivery date and an optional reference date, or a number of days/weeks postpartum, a symptom word, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from bundled reference content and local date arithmetic, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all — and no date, symptom word, or query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. We never learn who you are, whether you gave birth, or anything about your health.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, or your medical records, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire reference is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Postpartum is used by adults about their own recovery; it is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
