What Rende is for

The everyday Brazilian personal-finance questions: what's the Selic and CDI doing right now, how much does a CDB or Tesouro Selic actually pay after tax, what's my real take-home pay on a CLT contract, how much will my FGTS have grown by, and — put simply — where should R$20,000 sitting in the bank actually go.

What it does

Live indicators straight from the Central Bank of Brazil's public data series (SGS): the Selic target rate, the CDI daily rate with its compounded annualized equivalent, IPCA inflation (both the latest monthly change and the compounded 12-month accumulated rate), the USD/BRL commercial exchange rate, and the poupança monthly yield with its annualized equivalent. On top of that, calculators built from standard, published rules: a CLT salary calculator (progressive INSS contribution, IRRF withholding with dependent deductions, the employer's FGTS deposit, net pay, and an optional separately-taxed 13º salário); CDB and Tesouro Selic return calculators that apply Brazil's regressive fixed-income income tax (22.5% down to 15% by holding period) and, for Tesouro, B3's custody fee above the R$10,000 exemption — both default to the live CDI/Selic rate if you don't supply one; an FGTS balance projector over any number of months; and a poupança-vs-CDB-vs-Tesouro-Selic comparison that ranks net returns for the same amount and period.

What it is not

Not tax or investment advice, and not affiliated with any bank, broker or the Receita Federal. The INSS and IRRF tables are the most recently published official ones at build time (INSS 2025; IRRF effective Feb 2024) — Brazilian tax brackets change, so check gov.br for anything current before relying on a number here. FGTS's 3% p.a. base rate is modelled; the TR (Taxa Referencial) component, currently near zero, is not. B3's custody fee is a standard rate you can override — brokers occasionally waive it entirely.

selic_rate — The current Selic target rate (meta Selic) set by the Copom, from the Central Bank's public series. Use for "what's the Selic rate", "is the Selic going up".

cdi_rate — The current CDI daily rate and its compounded annualized equivalent (252 business days), from the Central Bank's public series. Use for "what's the CDI right now", to price a "% of CDI" investment.

ipca_inflation — The latest monthly IPCA change and the 12-month accumulated inflation rate, from the Central Bank's public series. Use for "what's inflation in Brazil", "12-month IPCA".

usd_brl_rate — The latest USD/BRL commercial exchange rate (sell), from the Central Bank's public series. Use for "dollar to real today".

poupanca_yield — The current poupança (savings account) monthly yield and its compounded annualized equivalent, from the Central Bank's public series. Use for "how much does poupança pay".

Salary & benefits

clt_salary_calculator — Net take-home pay for a CLT contract: progressive INSS contribution, IRRF withholding (with dependent deductions), the employer's FGTS deposit (informational — not part of net pay), and net salary; optionally the 13º salário net amount. Use for "net salary on 5000 gross with 2 dependents". Args: gross_salary, dependents, include_13th.

fgts_calculator — Projected FGTS account balance from the employer's 8% monthly deposits plus the fund's base interest, compounded monthly. Use for "FGTS balance after 3 years on a 4000 salary". Args: monthly_salary, months, starting_balance.

Investing

cdb_calculator — CDB (bank certificate of deposit) return at a given % of CDI, with Brazil's regressive income tax on the gain applied by holding period. Fetches the live annualized CDI if you don't supply one. Use for "CDB at 110% of CDI for 12 months on 10000". Args: principal, months, pct_of_cdi, annual_cdi_pct.

tesouro_selic_calculator — Tesouro Selic (Brazilian government Selic-indexed treasury bond) return, with the regressive income tax on the gain and B3's custody fee (waived on the first R$10,000). Fetches the live Selic rate if you don't supply one. Use for "Tesouro Selic for 20000 over 2 years". Args: principal, months, annual_selic_pct, custody_fee_pct.

investment_comparison — Compare poupança, a CDB at a given % of CDI, and Tesouro Selic for the same amount and holding period, net of tax and fees, ranked best to worst. Fetches live Selic/CDI/poupança rates. Use for "compare poupança, CDB and Tesouro Selic for 20000 over 2 years". Args: principal, months, cdb_pct_of_cdi, tesouro_custody_fee_pct.

Conventions

• Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
• Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
• Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Rende — Privacy Policy

Effective 23 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Rende is. Rende is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for Brazilian personal-finance data: live Central Bank rates (Selic, CDI, IPCA, USD/BRL, poupança) and calculators for CLT salary, CDB, Tesouro Selic, FGTS and investment comparisons. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers needed for that one lookup or calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a salary amount, number of dependents, an investment principal, a holding period, or a custom rate — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is fetched from the Central Bank of Brazil's own public data series or computed on our server, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party beyond the Central Bank's public API itself, and no query — including any salary or investment figures you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your bank or brokerage account, your CPF, or any actual account balance, and we do not build a financial profile from your queries: each calculation is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. Banco Central do Brasil (Central Bank of Brazil) — the public data source queried live for the rate tools. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in Brazil, California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days (or as required under Brazil's LGPD). We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Rende is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Rende — Terms of Service

Effective 23 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Rende connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

1. The Service. Rende returns Brazilian personal-finance data — live Selic, CDI, IPCA, USD/BRL and poupança rates from the Central Bank of Brazil's public data series — and computes CLT salary, CDB, Tesouro Selic, FGTS and investment-comparison figures from standard published formulas and tables. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
2. Not investment or tax advice. Rende's calculations are illustrative projections based on rates, tables and assumptions stated in each response, not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment, and not individualized tax advice. Consult a CVM-registered investment adviser or a contador (accountant) for advice tailored to your situation.
3. Rates and tables change. INSS and IRRF brackets, the FGTS base rate, and B3's custody fee reflect the most recently published official figures at build time; Brazilian tax and social-security rules are revised periodically. Always check gov.br (Receita Federal, INSS) or your broker's current terms before relying on a projection.
4. Not affiliated with the Central Bank of Brazil, B3, or any bank. The Service is an independent client of the Central Bank's public SGS data series.
5. Estimates, not guarantees. Actual investment returns, salary withholding, and FGTS growth vary; nothing in the Service guarantees any particular outcome.
6. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
7. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time, including if the Central Bank's public feed changes or becomes unavailable.
8. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from the Central Bank's public feed or computed locally, and nothing is stored.
9. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
10. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any financial loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
11. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.

When you report a problem, include the question you asked your agent, roughly when, and which agent you used (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini). Never send us passwords, account numbers or ID numbers. Rende never asks for them.
