Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_sessionnext_riddlesubmit_guessget_hintgive_upsession_statslist_categoriesrules_infoRiddle Duel is a fully local, playable riddle game session. new_session builds a shuffled, no-repeat pool of riddles (optional category/difficulty filter) and serves the first one. submit_guess checks your answer with real fuzzy matching -- exact, plural-tolerant, partial-phrase, and small-edit-distance tiers, in that order -- and scores it exactly (base points minus a per-hint penalty). get_hint reveals up to two escalating hints; give_up reveals the answer; next_riddle serves the next pool entry and reports honestly once it's exhausted. session_stats tallies your score and accuracy, list_categories shows the bank's breakdown, and rules_info explains the exact matching and scoring rules. Stateless -- no server-side session storage, the caller passes state between calls. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Original, hand-authored content. Fully local, zero upstream calls.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.
8 tools, grouped by job. Every one is read-only or compute-only.

A fully local, PLAYABLE riddle GAME SESSION over a bank of 105 original, hand-authored riddles across seven categories: wordplay, everyday objects, nature, the human body, tech, math, and tricky lateral-thinking riddles.
new_session builds a shuffled, no-repeat pool of riddles (optionally filtered by category and/or
difficulty) and serves the first one. submit_guess checks your answer with real, documented fuzzy
matching -- exact match after normalizing case/punctuation/whitespace, simple plural tolerance, whole-word
partial-phrase containment (so "a lit candle" matches "candle"), and finally a small Damerau-Levenshtein
edit-distance allowance for typos. A correct answer scores points for the riddle's difficulty, minus a
penalty for every hint used on that riddle, computed exactly. get_hint reveals up to two escalating
hints; give_up reveals the answer and moves on; next_riddle serves the next pool entry (counting any
unresolved current riddle as skipped) and reports honestly once the pool runs out, instead of repeating a
riddle. session_stats tallies riddles seen/solved/skipped/given-up and your score and accuracy.
There is no server-side session storage. Every call takes the full session state (the exact object
returned by the previous call) and returns a new one. The pool is a list of internal riddle ids, not
spoiler text, but avoid printing the raw state to the player to keep guessing fair.
Not a static riddle-reference list -- riddles are served one at a time from a live, shrinking, no-repeat pool with real answer-matching and real scoring math, not a lookup table you could just read through.
Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.
What Riddle Duel is. Riddle Duel is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a local riddle game session — serving riddles, checking guesses, and computing hints and scores.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — the session state you (via your assistant) pass back on every call, your guesses, and the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one) — plus standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored. Riddle Duel has no database and no server-side session storage of any kind. The entire session state lives only in your conversation with your assistant, which passes it back to us on each call and receives an updated copy in the response. We do not persist it, log it, or use it for anything beyond computing that one response. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your name, your conversation with the assistant beyond the bare session-state argument, or anything else about you. Each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs (IP addresses and request paths, not request bodies) are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — computation is entirely local to this server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Riddle Duel is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
