About

Solo Route is a fully local, hand-curated reference of general, practical safety habits for solo travelers. safety_tips_by_setting gives tips for a broad setting type (urban, rural, remote/outdoor & wilderness, nightlife, transit hubs) — never a specific country or culture; an unmatched setting name returns the covered list rather than guessing. accommodation_safety_checklist covers choosing and checking in to a place to stay. itinerary_sharing_template explains why and how to share your plan with someone at home, with a realistic check-in cadence. situational_awareness_basics covers everyday awareness and de-escalation habits. transport_safety_tips covers a transport mode (taxi/rideshare, public transit, daytime walking, walking after dark, self-driving). solo_dining_tips, emergency_prep_checklist and digital_safety_tips cover exactly what their names say. safety_glossary defines terms like situational awareness and check-in cadence. build_safety_plan combines the relevant settings and transport modes for a trip into one plan. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

Sources: Hand-curated from widely-published general personal-safety and solo-travel guidance, organized by setting type rather than country to stay non-alarmist and non-stereotyping. Fully local; zero upstream calls.

What Solo Route is for

Practical solo-travel safety habits — not a list of which countries to avoid. Solo Route organizes general safety guidance by the kind of setting or situation you're actually in (a city, a remote trail, a night out, an airport) because those situational factors matter far more than which country you happen to be in.

What it does

safety_tips_by_setting gives tips for a broad setting type: urban/city, rural/small town, remote/outdoor & wilderness, nightlife, or transit hubs. accommodation_safety_checklist covers choosing and checking in to a place to stay. itinerary_sharing_template explains why sharing your rough plan with someone at home is consistently the top-recommended solo-travel safety habit, what to share, and a realistic check-in cadence. situational_awareness_basics covers everyday awareness and de-escalation habits that apply anywhere. transport_safety_tips covers a specific transport mode — taxi/rideshare, public transit, daytime walking, walking after dark, or self-driving. solo_dining_tips, emergency_prep_checklist and digital_safety_tips cover exactly what their names say. safety_glossary defines terms like situational awareness and check-in cadence. build_safety_plan combines the settings and transport modes relevant to a trip into one plan.

What it is not

Solo Route never names or ranks a country or culture as more or less dangerous, and it isn't a personalized risk assessment. It's general, practical, non-alarmist guidance meant to apply broadly — situational awareness matters everywhere, including at home. Nothing here substitutes for your own judgment, local knowledge picked up on arrival, or official travel advisories from your government when you want destination-specific guidance.

Solo Route — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Solo Route is. Solo Route is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, fully local solo-travel safety reference — tips by setting and transport mode, accommodation and emergency checklists, itinerary-sharing guidance, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a setting type, a transport mode, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your actual location, or your travel plans, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Solo Route is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Solo Route — Terms of Service

Effective 26 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Solo Route connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Solo Route returns a hand-curated, fully local reference of general, practical safety tips for solo travelers, organized by setting type and transport mode. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General guidance, not a personalized risk assessment. Solo Route provides general safety habits, not tailored security advice, a threat assessment for any specific person, place, or trip, or a substitute for official government travel advisories, local knowledge, or your own judgment. It does not name or rank any country or culture as dangerous and should not be used or represented as doing so.
  3. Reference, not real-time guidance. Content reflects general, widely-published personal-safety practice as of the build date stated in the Service's own data. It cannot know your specific circumstances, destination, or risk profile.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Personal safety while traveling depends on many factors outside this Service's knowledge or control. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
