About

SwimPlan generates real swim workouts, computed locally with no upstream calls. generate_workout builds a warmup (15%) / main set (interval work) / cooldown (10%) split from a skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced), a target distance or duration, and a stroke focus — computing the main-set interval as pace-per-100 (skill- and stroke-adjusted, or your own) plus a skill-based rest-per-100, rounded up to the nearest 5 seconds. pace_calculator turns a distance and time into pace per 100m and per 50m, and speed. swolf_score computes the SWOLF efficiency number (time + strokes for one length) with an informal tier for 25m/50m pools. stroke_tips gives technique and distance-per-stroke efficiency pointers for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Pace benchmarks are hand-curated approximations, not measurements of you. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

About SwimPlan

SwimPlan is a swim-workout toolkit: four tools, all computed locally with no upstream calls, no accounts and no tracking.

  • Workout generator builds a warmup/main-set/cooldown swim workout from a skill level, a target distance or duration, and a stroke focus — with a real main-set interval computed from a pace-per-100 (by default from skill and stroke, or your own) plus a skill-based rest allowance, rounded up to the nearest 5 seconds.
  • Pace calculator turns a distance and time into pace per 100m and per 50m, and speed.
  • SWOLF score computes the SWOLF efficiency number (time plus strokes for one length) from a pool length, time and stroke count, with an informal tier for 25m/50m pools.
  • Stroke tips gives technique and distance-per-stroke efficiency pointers for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

Pace benchmarks and stroke-timing relationships are hand-curated approximations for recreational-to-competitive swimmers, not measurements of you — they're a reasonable starting point to scale a workout, not a guarantee of your actual pace.

Tools

Workouts

generate_workout — A structured warmup/main-set/cooldown swim workout with a real main-set interval (pace + skill-based rest, rounded to the nearest 5 seconds). Use for "give me a 2000m intermediate freestyle workout" or "30-minute beginner breaststroke swim". Args: skill_level, target_distance_m, target_duration_min, stroke_focus, custom_pace_per_100.

Pace

pace_calculator — Pace per 100m and per 50m, and speed, from a distance and time. Use for "what pace is 400m in 6:00". Args: distance_m, time.

Efficiency

swolf_score — SWOLF efficiency score (time + strokes for one length), with an informal tier for 25m/50m pools. Use for "SWOLF for 35 seconds and 15 strokes in a 25m pool". Args: pool_length_m, time_seconds, stroke_count.

Technique

stroke_tips — Technique and distance-per-stroke efficiency tips, by stroke. Use for "how do I improve my freestyle technique". Args: stroke.

Conventions

  • Read-only. Every tool computes from bundled constants; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
  • Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input).
  • Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

SwimPlan — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What SwimPlan is. SwimPlan is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for swim-workout generation and pool-swimming calculations: a workout generator, a pace calculator, a SWOLF efficiency calculator, and stroke-technique reference. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the values needed for that one calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a skill level, target distance or duration and stroke focus, a distance and time for pace, a pool length/time/stroke-count for SWOLF, or a stroke name — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. All reference constants (pace benchmarks, stroke factors, rest heuristics, stroke tips) are hand-curated and bundled with the server; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. Each call is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or account credentials. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. SwimPlan is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

SwimPlan — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the SwimPlan connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. SwimPlan returns swim-workout generation and pool-swimming calculations — a structured workout, a pace calculator, a SWOLF efficiency calculator, and stroke-technique reference — computed from hand-curated benchmarks and real interval math bundled with the server. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General training information, not coaching or medical advice. SwimPlan's workouts and pace suggestions are general planning information based on common coaching heuristics and approximate benchmarks, not an individualized training plan from a coach or a medical evaluation. If you have a health condition that affects your ability to swim safely, talk to a doctor before following a generated workout.
  3. Estimates, not guarantees. Pace benchmarks, stroke-timing relationships, and SWOLF tiers are simplified approximations; your actual pace, technique and fitness vary, and only your own recorded times reflect your real ability.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
