India: income tax under the new regime (Finance Act 2025 slabs, standard deduction, 87A rebate with marginal relief) and the old regime (age-based exemption, capped deductions you supply), compared side by side with surcharge, cess, effective rate and monthly take-home; HRA exemption; GST at any slab with CGST/SGST or IGST split and the GST 2.0 schedule; capital gains for equity, funds, property, gold and unlisted shares. US: federal income tax for 2025 and 2026 by filing status with standard or itemized deductions, the 65+ senior deduction, long-term gains stacking and Social Security/Medicare or self-employment tax. UK: income tax with the allowance taper, National Insurance, student loan plans, pension and monthly take-home. Every rate is in a dated table you can print. Estimates, not tax advice.

Taxes answers them with the actual slab arithmetic, shown line by line, from rate tables you can read.
India: income tax under the new regime (Finance Act 2025 slabs, ₹75,000 standard deduction, section 87A rebate to ₹12 lakh with marginal relief, employer NPS) and the old regime (basic exemption by age, ₹50,000 standard deduction, capped Chapter VI-A deductions you supply, HRA and home-loan interest), each with slab breakdown, surcharge with marginal relief, 4% cess, effective rate and monthly take-home — or both compared with the saving. HRA exemption under 10(13A). GST at any slab, added or extracted, split into CGST/SGST or IGST, with the September-2025 GST 2.0 schedule and examples per slab. Capital gains at post-July-2024 rates for listed equity and equity funds (with the ₹1.25 lakh exemption), debt funds, property, gold and unlisted shares. United States: federal income tax for 2025 and 2026 by filing status with standard (including the 65+ senior deduction) or itemized deductions, bracket breakdown, long-term capital gains stacked at 0/15/20%, Social Security and Medicare (employee or self-employment), marginal and effective rates. United Kingdom: income tax with the personal-allowance taper, basic/higher/additional bands, employee National Insurance, student loan by plan, pension contributions and monthly take-home for 2025/26 with frozen thresholds. A tables tool prints every number used.
Not a tax return and not advice: credits (child tax credit, EITC), state and local taxes, AMT, Scottish bands,
TDS timing, agricultural income, presumptive schemes, rebates for specific investments and every special case are
out of scope. Rate tables are dated and bundled; if a Finance Act, IRS revenue procedure or HMRC update changes
them, the tables need updating — the tax_slabs tool shows exactly what is in use.

What Taxes is. Taxes is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for tax estimates: Indian income tax, HRA and GST, capital gains, US federal income tax and UK income tax and National Insurance. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the income figures, deductions and options needed for the calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (income amounts, deductions, filing status, age, asset prices and dates, a GST amount), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. The rate tables are bundled files; the calculators are formulas. No request is forwarded to any third party. Income figures you send are used for that one answer and are not recorded, logged in request bodies or used to train anything. We never ask for a PAN, SSN, National Insurance number, name or account details.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, tax returns or identification numbers or any account credentials. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None for lookups. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Taxes is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
Effective 23 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Taxes connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").
