What UK Finance Finder is for

Searches the GOV.UK business finance support scheme records (government-backed loans, grants and support) and reads one scheme's GOV.UK page. It also holds a dated, cited table of the published terms of the British Business Bank Growth Guarantee Scheme and of Start Up Loans, checks a turnover, facility size and term against those published limits, computes Start Up Loans repayments at the published fixed rate, and compares the cost of loan options that the user supplies. These are lender guarantees and personal loans applied for through accredited lenders or the scheme operator: this connector gives general information from public pages, never applies, never scores anyone for credit, and is not a credit offer.

scheme_terms: Return the dated, cited published terms of the Growth Guarantee Scheme or Start Up Loans, each with its source quote and verification level.
ggs_eligibility_check: Compare a turnover and a facility size with the published Growth Guarantee Scheme limits (turnover 45m, facility 2m, 1m for Northern Ireland Protocol borrowers).
ggs_term_check: Check a facility type and term in months against the published Growth Guarantee Scheme term ranges.
start_up_loan_calc: Compute the monthly repayment, total repayable and interest of a Start Up Loan at the published fixed 7.5 percent a year.

Conventions

Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.
