About

Visareq is a hand-curated, general and point-in-time visa-requirement reference. visa_requirement gives one passport/destination pair's category (visa-free, ETA, e-visa, visa on arrival, or visa required), typical maximum stay, and notes. compare_destinations lines up several destinations for one passport side by side. destinations_by_category lists every covered destination in one category for a passport. no_visa_needed_destinations lists destinations needing nothing arranged in advance beyond a light ETA. reverse_lookup_by_destination shows the requirement for every covered passport against one destination. passports_covered and destinations_covered show this reference's coverage — 5 passports (United States, United Kingdom, India, Australia, South Africa) against 25-33 popular destinations each, not every country pair in the world. visa_category_glossary defines the five categories. travel_document_checklist gives general reminders (passport validity, blank pages, onward ticket, transit rules) that apply regardless of visa category. GENERAL, POINT-IN-TIME INFORMATION ONLY — not authoritative, not real-time, not legal/immigration advice; visa rules change often and vary by details this reference cannot capture. Always reverify directly with the destination's embassy, consulate, or official government portal before booking or travelling. Keyless; fully local; nothing stored.

Sources: Hand-curated from Wikipedia's 'Visa requirements for X citizens' and 'Visa policy of X' articles (themselves compiled from IATA Travel Centre, government and Timatic-derived sources), spot-verified via web search in September 2026; general and point-in-time only, not authoritative or exhaustive — always reverify with an official source before travel

It is independent and not affiliated with Visa Requirements.

How do I connect Visa Requirements to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

Add the MCP endpoint https://visareq.connectorbay.com/mcp to your client's MCP, connector or integration settings (streamable HTTP, no OAuth). For REST, POST JSON to https://visareq.connectorbay.com/v1/tools/<tool>; the OpenAPI description is at /openapi.json. For OpenAI function calling, load https://connectorbay.com/openai/visareq.json.

Do I need an account or API key for Visa Requirements?

What Visareq is for

"Do I need a visa for Thailand on a US passport?", "which of these countries can I enter visa-free with an Indian passport?", "what's the difference between an e-visa and a visa on arrival?" — a hand-curated, general reference for a common but constantly-shifting question, built to be a useful starting point, never the final word.

What it does

visa_requirement gives one passport/destination pair's general category — visa-free, ETA (a light electronic pre-registration), e-visa, visa on arrival, or visa required — plus typical maximum stay and any notes. compare_destinations lines up several destinations for one passport side by side. destinations_by_category lists every covered destination in one category for a passport, and no_visa_needed_destinations gives the shortlist needing nothing arranged in advance beyond an ETA. reverse_lookup_by_destination flips the lookup: one destination's requirement against every covered passport. passports_covered and destinations_covered show exactly what this reference has data for — 5 passports (United States, United Kingdom, India, Australia, South Africa) against 25-33 popular destinations each, not every country pair in the world. visa_category_glossary defines the five categories in plain language, and travel_document_checklist lists general reminders (passport validity, blank pages, onward-ticket proof, transit rules, minors' documents) that apply no matter what the visa category is.

What it is not

Not authoritative, not real-time, and not legal or immigration advice. Visa policy changes with little notice, depends on details this reference cannot capture — purpose of travel, prior visits, passport chip type, bilateral relations in flux — and this connector covers a curated set of passport/destination pairs, not the full worldwide matrix. Every answer states the categories plainly and links back to this caveat. Always reverify directly with the destination country's embassy, consulate, or an official government portal before booking flights or actually travelling — never rely on this tool alone for a real trip.

Privacy policy

Visareq — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Visareq is. Visareq is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, general visa-requirement reference — lookups, comparisons, category listings, reverse lookups, coverage lists, a glossary and a document checklist. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a passport name, a destination name, a category, or a list of destinations to compare — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your actual travel plans, or your passport number — only the passport nationality and destination names you or your assistant type into a lookup. We do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Visareq is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Visareq — Terms of Service

Effective 26 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Visareq connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Visareq returns a hand-curated, general visa-requirement reference for a limited set of passport/destination pairs — category, typical maximum stay, notes, comparisons, category and coverage listings, reverse lookup, a glossary and a document checklist. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General, point-in-time information only — not immigration or legal advice. Visa policy changes frequently and without notice, depends on facts this Service does not know (purpose of travel, prior visits, passport type, current bilateral agreements), and this Service covers a curated subset of passports and destinations, not every country pair worldwide. Nothing in this Service is authoritative, current for every reader, or a substitute for checking with the destination country's embassy, consulate, or official government portal before you travel.
  3. Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for verifying actual visa requirements before booking travel or presenting yourself at a border. Reliance on this Service for an actual trip, without independent verification, is entirely at your own risk.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time, and coverage (which passports/destinations are included) may change between versions.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, including a denied boarding, denied entry, or missed trip, arising from use of or reliance on this Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
