Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
claim_preparation_checklistclaim_anatomyconsumer_rights_referencefailure_risk_referenceextended_warranty_value_calculatorWarrantyClaim is a fully local electronics warranty-claim process guide. claim_anatomy explains the general anatomy of a warranty claim by topic: proof-of-purchase requirements, what's typically covered (manufacturing defects) vs typically excluded (accidental damage, water damage absent separate coverage), and duration/who to contact. claim_preparation_checklist is an actionable step-by-step checklist. consumer_rights_reference explains general, high-level consumer-protection concepts — the real general provisions of the US Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, implied warranties, and state-level protections — clearly labeled as general education, not legal advice. failure_risk_reference gives commonly-cited general failure-rate planning figures by device category. extended_warranty_value_calculator does a real expected-value calculation: given the warranty's cost, an estimated failure probability, and the repair cost if it fails, it computes whether buying is favored in strict expected-value terms, plus the break-even failure probability. Every response carries a disclaimer noting this is general educational information, not legal advice, and not a description of any specific manufacturer's or platform's actual terms. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

It is
general educational information only, never legal advice, and never a description of any specific
manufacturer's, retailer's, or protection-plan provider's actual warranty terms — those vary by product,
company, state, and country and must always be checked directly. Every tool response carries a disclaimer
field restating this.
The questions that come up before you file a warranty claim or decide whether to buy an extended warranty — what do you actually need to file a claim, is water damage typically covered, what are your general consumer rights under US warranty law, and is that extended warranty actually worth the money for this specific device — answered with real, general process knowledge and transparent expected-value math, with no upstream calls and nothing about the user stored.
The general anatomy of a warranty claim by topic — proof-of-purchase requirements, what's typically covered
(manufacturing defects) vs typically excluded (accidental damage, water damage absent separate coverage), and
duration/who to contact (claim_anatomy); an actionable claim-preparation checklist (claim_preparation_checklist);
a general, high-level consumer-protection reference — the real general provisions of the US Magnuson-Moss
Warranty Act, implied warranties, and state-level protections (consumer_rights_reference); commonly-cited
general failure-rate planning figures by device category (failure_risk_reference); and a real extended-warranty
expected-value calculator that compares the warranty's price against the expected cost of skipping it
(extended_warranty_value_calculator).
Not a law firm, not your specific manufacturer or retailer, and not a lookup of any real product's actual
warranty terms — those must be read from the product's own documentation. extended_warranty_value_calculator
does genuine arithmetic from the numbers you give it, but the failure probability and repair cost are estimates
you (or failure_risk_reference's general planning figures) supply, not a prediction for your specific unit.
consumer_rights_reference is general education about real, high-level legal concepts, not legal advice for a
specific dispute — consult a licensed attorney or your state's consumer-protection office for that.

What WarrantyClaim is. WarrantyClaim is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for an electronics warranty-claim process guide: claim anatomy, a preparation checklist, a general consumer-rights reference, a failure-risk reference, and an extended-warranty value calculator. WarrantyClaim provides general educational information only, not legal advice. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup or calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — for example a topic name, a device category, or the numbers for the value calculation (a warranty cost, an estimated failure probability, and an estimated repair cost) — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered locally and nothing is stored. WarrantyClaim makes zero upstream/network calls: every response is either bundled reference data or arithmetic computed directly from the arguments given. No request is forwarded to any third party, and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. We do not know what product you own, its purchase details, or any real claim you may be filing. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and every calculation runs locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. WarrantyClaim is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
