About

Warrantykeep is a fully local warranty-tracking methodology and calculator. calculate_warranty_expiration works out exactly when a warranty expires and whether it's active, expiring soon, or expired. bulk_check_warranty_expirations does the same for a whole list of items, sorted by soonest expiration. warranty_log_template gives a field schema and filled-in example for your own tracking log. reminder_schedule suggests calendar-worthy check-in dates. warranty_claim_checklist is a general step-by-step guide to filing a claim. warranty_types_glossary defines manufacturer/store/extended/implied warranties, prorated coverage, full-vs-limited, and lemon laws. receipt_retention_guide covers how long to keep documentation and how. extended_warranty_decision runs a general, widely published consumer-finance framework (cost ratio, added coverage, replacement affordability, reliability, existing free card coverage) to help think through an extended-warranty decision. compare_warranty_terms lines up two offers side by side. General information, not legal or financial advice; this server holds no state between calls — every tool takes your item's details as input. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

Sources: Hand-curated from widely published US consumer-protection concepts (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, UCC implied warranty, state lemon laws) and widely published consumer-finance rules of thumb on extended warranties (e.g. Consumer Reports-style cost-ratio guidance); general information, not legal or financial advice. Fully local, zero upstream calls.

What Warranty Keep is for

"When does my 2-year warranty from March 2026 expire?", "give me a template for tracking my warranties", "should I buy the extended warranty on this?" — a warranty-tracking methodology, not just a single calculator: the structure and math to actually stay on top of what you own and what's still covered.

What it does

calculate_warranty_expiration works out exactly when a warranty expires from a purchase date and length, and whether it's active, expiring soon (within 30 days), or already expired. bulk_check_warranty_expirations runs the same check over a whole list of items at once, sorted by what's expiring soonest. warranty_log_template gives you the field schema and a filled-in example row for a tracking log you keep yourself — this server holds no state between calls, so the log lives wherever you keep it (a spreadsheet, notes app, or plain text file). reminder_schedule suggests three calendar-worthy dates (the midpoint, 30 days before expiration, and the final week) to add to your own reminders app. warranty_claim_checklist is a general step-by-step guide to filing a claim, from finding your receipt to escalating a denial. warranty_types_glossary defines manufacturer, store, extended, and implied warranties, prorated coverage, full-vs-limited warranties, as-is sales, and lemon laws. receipt_retention_guide covers how long to keep documentation and how to back it up before a paper receipt fades. extended_warranty_decision runs a general, widely published consumer-finance decision framework — weighing the warranty's cost as a percentage of the item's price, how much coverage it actually adds beyond the manufacturer's warranty, whether you could afford to replace the item yourself, the product's reliability track record, and whether your payment card already extends coverage for free — to help you think through whether an extended warranty is worth it. compare_warranty_terms lines up two offers side by side and flags what differs.

What it is not

General information and a general decision framework, not legal or financial advice, and not a hosted tracker — it holds no state between calls, so it never stores your purchases; every tool takes the details as input each time. Consumer-protection rules (like implied-warranty minimums or lemon laws) vary meaningfully by state and country, and the extended-warranty framework is a widely published rule of thumb, not personalized financial advice. Always read your own warranty document for the terms that actually apply to you.

Privacy policy

Warranty Keep — Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Warranty Keep is. Warranty Keep is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a warranty-tracking methodology — a structured template, an expiration calculator, a claim checklist, a warranty-terms glossary, and a general extended-warranty decision framework. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Warranty Keep is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Warranty Keep — Terms of Service

Effective 25 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Warranty Keep connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Warranty Keep returns a warranty-tracking methodology — a structured template, an expiration calculator, a claim checklist, a warranty-terms glossary, and a general extended-warranty decision framework. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General information, not legal or financial advice. Warranty Keep provides general, hand-curated reference information and a general decision framework — it is not legal advice about your consumer-protection rights (which vary by state/country) and not financial advice about whether to buy a specific extended warranty. It does not know your specific product, purchase, contract, or financial situation, and it is not a substitute for reading the manufacturer's or retailer's own warranty document, or for professional advice where relevant.
  3. Reference, not guaranteed-current. Content reflects general, widely published practice as of the build date stated in the Service's own data. Some figures, dates or rules change over time and vary by brand, retailer or region — always verify anything decision-critical against a primary source.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
