A real, playable word-unscramble game over an original 290-word bank across 5 categories and 3 difficulty tiers

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_gamenew_gamesubmit_guessget_hintget_hintgive_uplist_categoriesgame_rulesWord Scramble runs a real game engine, not canned responses. new_game(category, difficulty) picks a secret word from an original, hand-curated bank of about 290 words spanning 5 categories and 3 difficulty tiers (easy/medium/hard, by word length) and returns the word already scrambled. submit_guess(state, guess) checks a guess case-insensitively and returns whether it's correct plus a score once the round ends. get_hint(state, hint_type) reveals one more letter, the category, or a short definition — each hint lowers the eventual score, and each wrong guess does too. give_up reveals the word and ends the round. render_game renders the scrambled word and revealed-letter progress as readable text. list_categories shows every category with word counts by difficulty, and game_rules explains scoring. Fully stateless: every tool call passes the complete game state, which the calling assistant holds between turns. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

A real, playable word-unscramble game — not a rules reference. Picks a word from an original word bank, scrambles its letters, and validates guesses for real.
new_game(category, difficulty) picks a secret word from an original, hand-curated bank of about 290 words
spanning 5 categories (Animals, Food, Household Objects, Nature & Places, Occupations) and 3 difficulty tiers
derived from word length (easy: 5 letters or fewer, medium: 6-7 letters, hard: 8+ letters), scrambles its
letters, and returns the initial state — the scrambled word is what to show the player.
submit_guess(state, guess) checks a guess against the secret word, case-insensitively, and returns whether it
was correct. get_hint(state, hint_type) gives one of three kinds of hint:
Every hint lowers the eventual score, and so does every wrong guess. give_up(state) ends the round early and
reveals the word. render_game(state) renders the scrambled word, revealed-letter progress (as underscores and
revealed letters), and the outcome once finished — this is what to show the player, never the raw state.
list_categories lists every category with word counts by difficulty tier. game_rules explains scoring and
difficulty tiers without a live game.
Each difficulty tier has a base score (easy 10, medium 20, hard 30). Each hint costs 3 points; each wrong guess costs 2 points. Score floors at 0 and a loss (running out of attempts) or a give-up scores 0.
An original, hand-curated bank of about 290 words across 5 categories, each with an original one-line clue written for this connector. Not copied from any third-party word-game data set.
Word Scramble keeps no server-side session. Every tool call receives the full current game state as a plain
JSON object and returns the new state; the calling assistant holds and passes it between turns. That means the
returned state necessarily contains the actual secret word (and its category and clue) in plain form — there
is no other place for a fully stateless server to keep them between calls. The assistant using this connector is
trusted not to reveal state.word to the player before the round ends, and not to reveal state.category or
state.clue before the player actually asks for that hint. This is a known, honestly-documented limitation
shared by every fully stateless word-guessing game in this catalog — not a bug.
Not a rules encyclopedia and not a random-letter shuffler with no game logic — every response comes from a real, tested game engine, including correct scoring and hint-progression logic. Fully local, zero upstream calls, nothing stored.
Effective 27 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.
What Word Scramble is. Word Scramble is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a real, playable, fully local word-unscramble game. You interact with your
assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one move — a game state object and your
guess or hint request.
What we receive. The game state and move arguments for each tool call, the technical headers needed to
serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have
one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored server-side. There is no upstream call at all, live or
otherwise, and no game state or query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. The
entire round — including the secret word, its category, and its clue — exists only inside the state object
that travels between you and your assistant; our server never retains a copy after answering the request.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and each request is answered independently — nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire game engine and word bank are bundled with the server and run locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Word Scramble is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
