Poses: 59 entries across standing, seated, backbend, forward fold, twist, inversion, balance, prone, supine, restorative, arm balance, hip opener and core, each with Sanskrit and English names, difficulty, benefits, contraindications and drishti — look one up directly or search by category, difficulty or targeted body part. Sequences: eight pre-built themes (morning energizer, hip openers, backbend prep, beginner foundations, power flow, gentle evening, core strength, twists & detox) expanded into full pose detail. Pranayama: seven breathing techniques with steps, counts and cautions. Chakras: the seven chakras with location, element, color, seed mantra and associated poses. Modifications: guidance and props for common limitations, checked against a pose's own contraindications when given. Class timer: splits a class length into centering/warmup/standing/peak/cooldown/savasana by style. Glossary: Sanskrit terms. Keyless; nothing stored; wellness information, not medical advice.

Class timer — splits a class length into centering/warmup/standing/peak/ cooldown/savasana minutes by style (vinyasa, hatha, yin, power, restorative). Glossary — Sanskrit terms.
Wellness reference, not medical advice or a substitute for an in-person teacher — every response says so. Contraindications and modification guidance are general starting points; anyone with an injury, a medical condition, or who is pregnant should check with a doctor and a qualified teacher. This is a reference tool, not a video or live-instruction platform.

What Asanas is. Asanas is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for yoga reference: pose lookup and search, themed sequences, pranayama, chakras, sun salutations, mantras, modification guidance and class timing. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the pose name, search filters, or settings needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a pose name or search filters, a sequence theme, a breathing technique name, a chakra query, a mantra search term, a limitation and optional pose for modification guidance, or a class length and style — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. All reference data (poses, sequences, pranayama, chakras, mantras, glossary) is hand-curated and bundled with the server; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any mention of an injury or limitation you're working around — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or account credentials, and we do not build a health or fitness profile from your queries. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Asanas is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
