What CallTrackingMetrics (BYOK) is for

CallTrackingMetrics (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own CallTrackingMetrics data through the CallTrackingMetrics API with a key you supply (API access key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_accounts, get_account, list_activities, get_report_series, list_queues, list_receiving_numbers, list_tracking_numbers, list_tracking_sources, list_sms_messages, list_a2p_campaigns). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.calltrackingmetrics.com.   • "How many inbound calls did we get on CallTrackingMetrics last week?"

What it does

  • list_accounts: List the accounts the keys can see (one for an account key, all sub-accounts for an agency key) with status, role and dates.
  • get_account: Get one account's name, status, time zone, creation date, and counts of tracking numbers and user licenses.
  • list_activities: List calls, texts, chats and forms (newest first) with direction, duration, source, tracking number, status and caller location. Date range YYYY-MM-DD; maximum about 3 months. Page with the after token.
  • get_report_series: Aggregate activity counts over a date range grouped by one dimension (source, status, tracking_number, agent, day, hour and more). Answer returned as CallTrackingMetrics sends it.
  • list_queues: List call queues with default action, schedule, and number of agents and numbers.
  • list_receiving_numbers: List receiving numbers (where tracked calls are forwarded) with label and number.
  • list_tracking_numbers: List the account's tracking numbers, filterable by number or name. Answer returned as CallTrackingMetrics sends it.
  • list_tracking_sources: List tracking sources (the traffic-source rules numbers are swapped for), optionally by name. Answer returned as CallTrackingMetrics sends it.
  • list_sms_messages: List text messages with optional filter, direction and time range. Answer returned as CallTrackingMetrics sends it.
  • list_a2p_campaigns: List A2P 10DLC messaging campaigns registered in the account's Trust Center (add all=1 for the whole agency). Answer returned as CallTrackingMetrics sends it.

BYOK key

You bring your own CallTrackingMetrics API access key (https://app.calltrackingmetrics.com/accounts/edit#api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.calltrackingmetrics.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
