What Crisp Helpdesk (BYOK) is for
Crisp Helpdesk (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Crisp Helpdesk data through the Crisp Helpdesk API with a key you supply (Crisp token identifier). Read-only: 11 tools (get_helpdesk, get_helpdesk_settings, list_helpdesk_locales, get_helpdesk_locale, get_helpdesk_feedback_ratings, list_helpdesk_pages, list_helpdesk_tree, list_helpdesk_redirections, list_teams, list_inboxes, list_campaign_templates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.crisp.chat. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Crisp Helpdesk. Crisp Helpdesk and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What is the public address of my Crisp helpdesk?"
- "How is my Crisp helpdesk configured?"
- "How many articles does my Crisp helpdesk have per language?"
- "How much French content does my Crisp helpdesk have?"
- "How many visitors found my Crisp help articles helpful?"
- "Which help articles are published on my Crisp helpdesk in English?"
What it does

BYOK key
You bring your own Crisp Helpdesk Crisp token identifier (https://docs.crisp.chat/guides/rest-api/authentication/website-token/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.crisp.chat over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
