What Intervals.icu (BYOK) is for

Intervals.icu (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Intervals.icu data through the Intervals.icu API with a key you supply (Intervals.icu API key (Settings, Developer Settings)). Read-only: 4 tools (list_activities, get_activity, list_wellness, list_calendar_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to intervals.icu. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Intervals.icu. Intervals.icu and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What activities did I do in Intervals.icu in the first half of October?"
  • "Show the intervals of my Intervals.icu activity i12345678"
  • "What wellness data did I log in Intervals.icu last week?"
  • "What workouts are planned on my Intervals.icu calendar this week?"

What it does

  • list_activities: List your activities between two dates (workouts, rides, runs and so on) as stored in Intervals.icu. The answer is returned as the provider sends it (no field selection) and is capped at 30 items per call. Reads only the data of the athlete who owns the key.
  • get_activity: Get one of your activities by id, including its interval breakdown. Reads only the data of the athlete who owns the key.
  • list_wellness: List your daily wellness entries (such as weight, resting heart rate, sleep and mood fields you record) between two dates. The answer is returned as the provider sends it (no field selection) and is capped at 30 items per call. Reads only the data of the athlete who owns the key.
  • list_calendar_events: List the events on your training calendar (planned workouts, races, notes) between two dates. The answer is returned as the provider sends it (no field selection) and is capped at 30 items per call. Reads only the data of the athlete who owns the key.

BYOK key

You bring your own Intervals.icu Intervals.icu API key (Settings, Developer Settings) (https://intervals.icu/settings). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to intervals.icu over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Intervals.icu API (intervals.icu) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://forum.intervals.icu/t/api-access-to-intervals-icu/609. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Intervals.icu. Intervals.icu and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Intervals.icu account.
