What Kustomer Configuration (BYOK) is for
Kustomer Configuration (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Kustomer Configuration data through the Kustomer Configuration API with a key you supply (Kustomer API key (Settings > Security > API Keys)). Read-only: 11 tools (list_klasses, get_klass, list_business_schedules, get_default_business_schedule, list_shortcuts, list_shortcut_categories, list_sub_statuses, list_snippets, list_role_groups, list_satisfaction_surveys, list_workflows). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.kustomerapp.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kustomer Configuration. Kustomer Configuration and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which custom object types exist in our Kustomer?"
- "Describe Kustomer klass 5e15fa56a07888001927f8e5."
- "What are our Kustomer business hours?"
- "What is the default Kustomer business schedule?"
- "Which Kustomer shortcuts start with 'follow up'?"
- "How are Kustomer shortcuts organized into categories?"
What it does

Per-language text is not returned.list_role_groups: List role groups (permission bundles) with name, description, whether they are system groups and which roles they contain.list_satisfaction_surveys: List customer satisfaction survey definitions with name, form type, channel, whether enabled, delay and rating scale. No survey responses.list_workflows: List automation workflows with name, description, trigger event name and enabled flag (steps are not requested).
BYOK key
You bring your own Kustomer Configuration Kustomer API key (Settings > Security > API Keys) (https://help.kustomer.com/api-keys-SJs5YTIWX). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.kustomerapp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
