What Tidio (BYOK) is for
Tidio (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Tidio data through the Tidio API with a key you supply (Tidio OpenAPI client id (starts with ci_)). Read-only: 8 tools (list_contacts, get_contact, list_contact_messages, list_contact_properties, list_operators, list_departments, list_tickets, get_ticket). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.tidio.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tidio. Tidio and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Who are my newest Tidio contacts?"
- "Show Tidio contact ctc_0000000000000000"
- "What did Tidio contact ctc_0000000000000000 write?"
- "Which contact properties are defined in Tidio?"
- "Which Tidio operators were active recently?"
- "What departments does Tidio have?"
What it does
list_contacts: List Tidio contacts (identified widget visitors) with name, email, phone, country, email consent and custom properties.get_contact: Get one Tidio contact by id.list_contact_messages: List the messages of one contact's Tidio conversation with author type (operator, contact, bot), text and time.list_contact_properties: List the contact properties defined in Tidio (default and custom) with label and type.list_operators: List Tidio operators (chat agents) with email, role, active flag and last seen time.list_departments: List Tidio departments with id and name.list_tickets: List Tidio tickets with subject, status (open, pending, solved), priority, contact email and assignee.get_ticket: Get one Tidio ticket by id with its messages.
BYOK key
You bring your own Tidio Tidio OpenAPI client id (starts with ci_) (https://developers.tidio.com/docs/openapi-authorization). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.tidio.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Create the id and secret in the Tidio panel under Developer > OpenAPI (project owners and admins only).

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tidio. Tidio and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Tidio account.
