What v0 (BYOK) is for
v0 (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own v0 data through the v0 API with a key you supply (v0 API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_chats, get_chat, list_chat_messages, get_chat_files, list_mcp_servers, list_webhooks, get_trusted_preview_hosts). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.v0.dev. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by v0. v0 and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which v0 chats do I have, newest first?"
- "Show v0 chat chat_abc123."
- "What did v0 answer last in chat chat_abc123?"
- "Show the files v0 generated in chat chat_abc123."
- "Which MCP servers is v0 set up to use?"
- "Which webhooks are set up in my v0 workspace?"
What it does
list_chats: List v0 chats you can access (generated apps) with title, privacy, author, linked Vercel project and metadata; filter by author, project or metadata.get_chat: Get one v0 chat: title, privacy, author, linked Vercel project, metadata and write permission.list_chat_messages: List the messages of a chat, newest first, with role, closing text and timestamps.get_chat_files: Get the source files generated in a chat (path and content). Can be large.list_mcp_servers: List the MCP servers configured for your v0 account with name, enabled flag, auth type and scope (the server URL is not shown).list_webhooks: List the webhooks configured in your v0 workspace (id and name).get_trusted_preview_hosts: Get the hostname patterns that may embed v0 previews for your team.
BYOK key
You bring your own v0 v0 API key (https://v0.app/settings/keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.v0.dev over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by v0. v0 and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your v0 account.
