Canada Tender Radar — Privacy Policy

What Canada Tender Radar is. Canada Tender Radar is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants call on your behalf: New and closing federal tenders on CanadaBuys matched to your keywords, UNSPSC or GSIN codes and region, read from the official open-data files. You talk to your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one request.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Nothing is stored. Some tools ask the public sources listed in the documentation for data. Only the arguments needed for that one lookup are sent, never anything that identifies you. Arguments are used for that one response and are not logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

Live public source (what a call sends). The tools download the CanadaBuys open-data tender and award notice files (canadabuys.canada.ca; dataset pages on open.canada.ca) from fixed public addresses and search them on our server, so no keyword, code, region, notice number or supplier name is sent to any source. The source sees our server's address, never anything that identifies you and never the host agent's user identifier. Contact-person columns of the notices are left out of every answer.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts or account credentials, and we build no profile: each request is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting access logs (IP addresses and request paths, not request bodies) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. Public data sources named in the documentation (no personal data is sent to them). Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Your rights. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.

Children. Canada Tender Radar is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
