A backward-planned college-application timeline, Common App checklist, and grade-by-grade prep guidance
Unify Dynamics LLC
Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
application_timelineapplication_timelinecommon_app_checklisttimeline_by_gradeCollegeapp is a fully local US college-application planning toolkit. application_timeline takes a deadline_type (early decision, early action, regular decision, or rolling) and a deadline_date, and backward-plans a real, date-computed checklist: college-list finalization, the last recommended standardized-test date, recommendation-letter request date, essay first-draft and revision milestones, activities-list finalization, a final-proofread date, approximate FAFSA opening/recommended-submit dates, and an approximate decision-notification date. common_app_checklist lists the standard Common Application components (essays, transcript, recommendation letters, test scores, activities list, additional information, fee/waiver, mid-year/final transcripts) with what each involves. timeline_by_grade gives general year-by-year guidance for grades 9-12. This is general process guidance, not personalized admissions advice, and it knows nothing about any specific college's actual deadlines — always verify against the school's own site. Keyless; zero upstream calls; nothing submitted is stored.

The logistics side of a college application — when should I actually ask for recommendation letters, what's the last SAT date that still leaves time to report scores, when does FAFSA open, what does the Common App actually require — answered with real computed dates from your own deadline, plus hand-curated reference checklists. This is general process guidance, not personalized admissions advice.
application_timeline takes a deadline_type (early decision, early action, regular decision, or rolling)
and a deadline_date, and backward-plans a real, date-computed checklist: when to finalize your college list,
the last recommended standardized-test date, when to request recommendation letters, essay first-draft and
revision milestones, when to finalize your activities list, a final-proofread date, approximate FAFSA opening
and recommended-submit dates, and an approximate decision-notification date. Every date is genuinely computed
from the deadline you give it (with real month/year-boundary arithmetic), not a static template — an Early
Decision deadline uses a tighter set of lead times than a Regular Decision deadline further out, and dates
already in the past relative to "today" are flagged so you can see at a glance what's overdue.
common_app_checklist lists the standard Common Application components — personal essay, school-specific
supplemental essays, transcript, recommendation letters, standardized test scores, the activities list,
the optional additional-information section, the application fee or fee waiver, and mid-year/final
transcripts — with what each one actually involves.
timeline_by_grade gives general guidance for what a college-bound student typically focuses on in each year
of high school, from building a foundation in 9th grade to executing and submitting applications in 12th.
Not personalized admissions advice, and not aware of any specific college's actual published deadline or requirements — it computes a generic, sensible backward plan from whatever deadline you supply, but the real deadline, the real number of supplemental essays, and the real recommendation-letter policy are always set by the individual school. Always verify against the school's own admissions site, and treat FAFSA opening dates in particular as approximate — the exact date has shifted from cycle to cycle in recent years. It also does not predict admissions outcomes, evaluate essays, or fill out any application on your behalf.

What Collegeapp is. Collegeapp is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local US college-application planning toolkit: a backward-planned application-timeline generator, a Common Application components checklist, and grade-by-grade timeline guidance. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one tool call — typically just a deadline type and a date.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (a deadline type, a date, and optionally a high-school grade level — no personal or identifying information is required by any tool), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
We do not store, log, or retain the content of your tool calls. Every tool computes its answer from the arguments you send, in memory, for that one request, and returns a result — nothing is written to a database, written to a request log, cached, or used to train anything. Request bodies are not logged.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps, never the request content) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — there is no upstream call at all; every tool computes its answer locally or reads from a reference table bundled with the server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived, content-free logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Collegeapp covers a topic (college applications) that is commonly relevant to minors, but the Service itself takes no age, name, or identifying information of any kind and is operated by the adult or student using the assistant — no account or profile is created.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
