About

Prakriti (Constitution) is a fully local Ayurveda traditional-wellness reference. dosha_quiz gives a short traditional Vata/Pitta/Kapha self-assessment: call with no arguments for the 9 questions, then again with answers for a tallied result. dosha_info gives Vata, Pitta, or Kapha's traditional elements, qualities (guna), and commonly described physical and mental traits. balancing_tips gives traditional diet and lifestyle suggestions for balancing one dosha, phrased as what the tradition says rather than a treatment claim. dinacharya_guide covers the traditional daily-routine framework — waking time, tongue scraping, oil pulling, self-massage, and meal timing. ritucharya_guide covers the traditional seasonal-routine framework across the six seasons of the Ayurvedic calendar. herb_reference covers common herbs used in Ayurvedic tradition (turmeric, ashwagandha, tulsi, triphala, brahmi, neem, and more) with traditionally described uses. taste_guide covers the six tastes (shad rasa) and their traditional effect on each dosha. food_dosha_guide gives a traditional dosha-effect classification for roughly 49 common foods. ayurveda_glossary defines core terms (dosha, prakriti, vikriti, agni, ama, dinacharya, ritucharya, guna, rasa, ojas, dhatu, panchakarma). Keyless; fully local, zero upstream calls; presented throughout as traditional/cultural reference content, never as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment — Ayurveda is not claimed to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Sources: Hand-curated, in our own words, from widely-published generic Ayurvedic tradition (not any single named text, teacher, or living guru); fully local, zero upstream calls

What Prakriti (Constitution) is for

The Ayurveda question that comes up in casual conversation — what's my dosha, what does Pitta mean, how do I balance Vata, what's dinacharya, is ginger good for Kapha — answered from one hand-curated, respectfully-written reference to Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine and wellness, instead of a scroll through conflicting wellness-blog listicles.

Prakriti (प्रकृति) is the Sanskrit word for one's inborn constitution — the traditional starting point of this whole framework — which is why it names this connector.

What it does

A short traditional Vata/Pitta/Kapha self-assessment quiz — 9 questions on body frame, appetite, sleep pattern, temperament, skin, and more, tallied into a dominant-dosha result (dosha_quiz); Vata, Pitta, and Kapha's traditional elements, qualities (guna), and commonly described physical and mental traits (dosha_info); traditional diet and lifestyle suggestions associated with balancing each dosha, phrased as what the tradition says rather than a treatment claim (balancing_tips); the traditional daily-routine framework (dinacharya) — waking time, tongue scraping, oil pulling, self-massage, and meal timing (dinacharya_guide); the traditional seasonal-routine framework (ritucharya) across the six seasons of the Ayurvedic calendar (ritucharya_guide); common herbs used in Ayurvedic tradition — turmeric, ashwagandha, tulsi, triphala, brahmi, neem, and more — with their traditionally described uses (herb_reference); the six tastes (shad rasa) and their traditional effect on each dosha (taste_guide); a traditional dosha-effect classification for roughly 49 common foods (food_dosha_guide); and a glossary of core terms — dosha, prakriti, vikriti, agni, ama, dinacharya, ritucharya, guna, rasa, ojas, dhatu, panchakarma (ayurveda_glossary).

What it is not

Prakriti (Constitution) is a reference to a traditional system of medicine and wellness, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is written in our own words, drawn from widely-published, generic Ayurvedic tradition rather than any single named text, teacher, or living guru, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. The dosha quiz is a short, informal self-assessment for cultural and educational interest, not a validated psychometric or diagnostic instrument. Nothing here claims that Ayurveda treats, cures, or prevents any disease, and the herb and balancing-tips tools are explicitly traditional-use references, not efficacy claims — none of it has been evaluated by the FDA or any medical authority. For any health concern, or before making a significant diet, lifestyle, or herbal change, consult a qualified healthcare provider or a registered Ayurvedic practitioner — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a health condition.

Tools

Constitution

dosha_quiz — A short traditional Vata/Pitta/Kapha self-assessment quiz (8-10 questions on body frame, appetite, sleep, temperament, skin, and more): call with no arguments for the questions, then call again with answers for a tallied result. Use for "what's my dosha", "am I Vata, Pitta, or Kapha". This is a traditional self-assessment for cultural and educational interest, not a medical or diagnostic tool. Args: answers.

dosha_info — Traditional characteristics of Vata, Pitta, or Kapha: elements, qualities (guna), what each traditionally governs, and commonly described physical and mental traits. Use for "what does Pitta mean in Ayurveda", "what are Kapha traits". Args: dosha.

balancing_tips — Traditional diet and lifestyle suggestions associated with balancing Vata, Pitta, or Kapha, phrased as what Ayurvedic tradition says — never a treatment claim. Use for "how do I balance Vata", "what should Pitta types eat". Always consult a qualified practitioner or your doctor before making significant diet or lifestyle changes. Args: dosha.

Routines

dinacharya_guide — The traditional Ayurvedic daily-routine framework (dinacharya): waking time, tongue scraping, oil pulling, self-massage (abhyanga), exercise, and meal timing, described as cultural practice. Use for "what's dinacharya", "what's the Ayurvedic morning routine".

ritucharya_guide — The traditional Ayurvedic seasonal-routine framework (ritucharya): diet and lifestyle adjustments across the six seasons (ritus) of the Ayurvedic calendar. Use for "what should I eat in monsoon season", "Ayurvedic winter routine". Args: season.

Reference

herb_reference — Common herbs used in Ayurvedic tradition (turmeric, ashwagandha, tulsi/holy basil, triphala, brahmi, neem, and more) with their traditionally described uses — labelled as traditional use, not an efficacy claim. Use for "what is ashwagandha traditionally used for", "what is triphala". Not evaluated by any medical authority; consult a doctor before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, or on medication. Args: name.

taste_guide — The six tastes (shad rasa — sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, astringent) and their traditional effect on Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Use for "what are the six tastes in Ayurveda", "does bitter taste increase or decrease Pitta".

food_dosha_guide — A common food's traditional dosha-effect classification (roughly 49 bundled foods) — whether Ayurvedic tradition says it traditionally increases, decreases, or has a neutral effect on Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Use for "is banana good or bad for Kapha", "what does Ayurveda say about eating tomatoes". This is a traditional classification, not nutritional or medical advice. Args: food.

ayurveda_glossary — Definitions of core Ayurvedic terms (dosha, prakriti, vikriti, agni, ama, dinacharya, ritucharya, guna, rasa, ojas, dhatu, panchakarma). Use for "what does agni mean", "what is vikriti". Args: term.

Conventions

  • Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
  • Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
  • Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Privacy policy

Prakriti (Constitution) — Privacy Policy

Effective 24 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Prakriti (Constitution) is. Prakriti (Constitution) is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local Ayurveda traditional-wellness reference: a dosha constitution quiz, dosha characteristics and traditional balancing tips, the dinacharya and ritucharya routine frameworks, a traditional herb reference, the six tastes, a food-dosha guide, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — quiz answers (option indexes only, e.g. {"body_frame": 0}), a dosha name, a season, an herb name, or a food name — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from bundled, hand-curated reference files and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query, including your quiz answers, is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a wellness profile from your queries: each request, including a dosha_quiz call, is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Not a health-data service. Prakriti (Constitution) does not collect, request, or store any medical or health information about you. Dosha-quiz answers describe traditional self-assessment preferences (body frame, appetite, sleep pattern, and the like), are processed only to compute your result in that one request, and are never retained afterward.

Children. Prakriti (Constitution) is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Prakriti (Constitution) — Terms of Service

Effective 24 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Prakriti (Constitution) connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Prakriti (Constitution) returns a fully local Ayurveda traditional-wellness reference — a dosha (Vata/Pitta/Kapha) constitution quiz, dosha characteristics and traditional balancing tips, the dinacharya and ritucharya routine frameworks, a traditional herb reference, the six-taste (shad rasa) framework, a food-dosha guide, and a glossary — hand-curated in our own words from widely-published, generic Ayurvedic tradition. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Traditional and cultural reference content — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of medicine and wellness. The Service presents dosha concepts, herbs, and routines as a reference to that tradition, for cultural and educational interest. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment, and not a scientific or clinical claim; it has not been evaluated by the FDA or any other regulatory health authority; and it does not claim that Ayurveda treats, cures, or prevents any disease. The dosha quiz is an informal, traditional self-assessment, not a validated psychometric or diagnostic instrument. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by any named author, teacher, guru, or religious institution, and it is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider or a registered Ayurvedic practitioner.
  3. Consult a professional. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or a registered Ayurvedic practitioner before making significant diet, lifestyle, or herbal changes based on anything in the Service — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a health condition. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read here.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from bundled reference files, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including any health, diet, or lifestyle decision made in reliance on it. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
