About

SATWords is an unofficial SAT/ACT-tier vocabulary and practice-question generator for teens through adult learners — not affiliated with the College Board or ACT, Inc. vocab_word looks up a specific word or samples by difficulty tier (tier1 foundation, tier2 advanced, tier3 extreme), each with definition, part of speech, synonyms, antonyms and an example sentence. fill_in_blank and practice_quiz turn real sentences into fill-in-the-blank questions with three plausible same-tier distractor words and the answer included. synonym_challenge asks which word means the same as a given word, with real distractor words. word_roots is a reference of common Latin/Greek roots (loqu, tac, sequ, bene, mal, equ and more) cross-referenced to bank words built on them. tier_list explains the tiers and their word counts. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; scores are illustrative, not official.

About SATWords

SATWords is an unofficial SAT/ACT-tier vocabulary and practice-question generator for teens through adult learners. It draws on a hand-curated bank of genuinely challenging words — not everyday vocabulary — computed and served locally with no upstream calls.

  • vocab_word looks up a specific word or samples words by difficulty tier, each with a definition, part of speech, synonyms, antonyms and an example sentence.
  • fill_in_blank / practice_quiz turn a real sentence into a fill-in-the-blank question by removing the target word, with three plausible same-tier distractor words and the answer included for self-check.
  • synonym_challenge asks "which word means the same as ___", with three real (but incorrect) words as distractors.
  • word_roots is a reference of common Latin/Greek word roots and which bank words are built on them.
  • tier_list explains the three difficulty tiers — foundation, advanced, extreme — and how many words are in each.

Not affiliated with the College Board or ACT, Inc. "SAT" and "ACT" here describe a difficulty register of vocabulary, the same way "graduate-level reading" would — this is an independent, unofficial study aid, not a substitute for an official test-prep course or practice material, and scores here are illustrative, not official.

SATWords — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What SATWords is. SATWords is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for unofficial SAT/ACT-tier vocabulary practice: word lookups, fill-in-the-blank and synonym questions, and a word-roots reference. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the values needed for that one request.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a word to look up, a difficulty tier, a count, or a root to search — plus the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. The vocabulary bank, example sentences and roots reference are hand-curated and bundled with the server; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, an account, a login, or any other identifying information, and we do not build a study profile from queries: each call is answered independently. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

SATWords — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the SATWords connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. SATWords returns unofficial SAT/ACT-tier vocabulary and practice questions — word lookups, fill-in-the-blank and synonym questions, a word-roots reference — generated from a hand-curated word bank bundled with the server. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Unofficial practice content, not a test-prep course. SATWords is not affiliated with, endorsed by, reviewed by, or connected in any way to the College Board, ACT, Inc., or any official exam administrator. It is general supplementary vocabulary practice, not a substitute for an official test-prep course or practice material, and does not guarantee coverage of, or resemblance to, any specific exam's actual content.
  3. Illustrative results. Difficulty tiers, question selections, and any self-check answers are illustrative study aids, not official scores or predictions of exam performance.
  4. Randomly generated content. Which words or questions are shown, and their order, are generated at request time and are not guaranteed to be unique or non-repeating across calls.
  5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
