Skyward — Privacy Policy
Effective 22 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.
What Skyward is. Skyward is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to answer questions about weather, air quality, sun and moon, tides, earthquakes and the aurora in the United States. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the specific request needed to answer: a place, a date, an activity name.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (a location — city, ZIP, address or coordinates — plus dates, hours and activity names), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts or account credentials for any service. We do not create user profiles, and we do not keep a history of the places you ask about. Tool inputs and outputs are processed in memory and are not stored. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
A note on location. A location is personal data when it is where you are. We use it only to look up conditions for that place, forward only the coordinate or place name needed to the sources below, and never store it or link it to an identifier.
Sub-processors. To answer requests we forward the minimum necessary data to public U.S. government services and open-data services, none of which receive anything that identifies you: - NOAA National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) — coordinates, for forecasts, alerts and observations. - U.S. EPA — AirNow public data files (no data is sent; we download the feed) and the Envirofacts UV service (city/state or ZIP). - USGS, NOAA CO-OPS, NOAA SWPC, NOAA SPC, National Hurricane Center — coordinates or station ids. - U.S. Census Bureau geocoder — a street address you provide, to turn it into coordinates. - zippopotam.us — a ZIP code. OpenStreetMap Nominatim — a place name, only for small places not in our bundled gazetteer. - Vercel — hosting infrastructure (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Skyward is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
