Skywatch — Terms of Service

Effective 22 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Skywatch connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Skywatch returns sky and space information for a place and date — ISS position and pass predictions, planet visibility, sun and moon times, meteor showers, eclipses, aurora forecasts, upcoming launches, asteroid close approaches, the crew in space and NASA's picture of the day — computed locally or from the public sources named in each response. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Predictions, not guarantees. Pass times, visibility and aurora chances are model outputs and depend on weather, light pollution, orbital updates and space weather. Launch times slip. Nothing here is navigation, aviation or safety advice.
  3. Eye safety. Never look at the sun without certified eclipse glasses or a proper solar filter; the Service's notes are reminders, not instruction.
  4. Acceptable use. Do not use the Service to overwhelm the underlying services or to circumvent rate limits. Automated use within the published limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: a place and a date, computed in memory, nothing stored.
  7. Attribution. ISS data by wheretheiss.at; launch data by The Space Devs (Launch Library 2, CC BY-NC-SA for their data — commercial reuse of their data needs their licence); asteroid and APOD data by NASA/JPL (public domain, individual APOD images may be copyrighted by their photographers); space weather by NOAA; crew roster by Open Notify; place data © GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). Respect those terms when reusing output.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
