Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_storycontinue_storyplot_twist_promptwrap_up_promptrenderStory Prompt is a real, stateless, playable collaborative-story game session engine. new_story starts a story with an original opening line, optionally by genre. continue_story appends a contribution and returns updated word/contribution counts and the story so far. plot_twist_prompt checks a real trigger (contributions since the last twist) and only injects a fresh original twist once it's actually due. wrap_up_prompt checks a real length threshold (120 words or 10 contributions) and suggests an ending nudge once crossed. render shows the labeled story so far. list_genres lists the available genres. There is no server-side session; every tool call takes the full state and returns the new one. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Original, hand-authored content. Fully local, zero upstream calls.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

A real, playable collaborative-story game session your assistant can run right inside the conversation — not a static list of writing prompts. It serves a fresh original opening line, tracks the story as players add to it, and genuinely knows when to inject a twist or suggest wrapping up.
new_story starts a story with an original opening line, optionally from a chosen genre.
continue_story appends a player's contribution and returns the updated word/contribution counts
plus the full story so far. plot_twist_prompt checks a REAL trigger condition — it only injects a
fresh original twist once enough contributions (four, by default) have passed since the last twist
or the story's start; call it after each contribution and it will tell you plainly when nothing is
due yet. wrap_up_prompt checks a real length threshold (120 words or 10 contributions, whichever
comes first) and, once crossed, suggests nudging the story toward an ending. render shows the
whole story so far with each part labeled (opener, a contributor, or a twist). list_genres lists
the available story-starter genres.
There is no server-side session. Every tool takes the full session state (the story so far, genre, running word/contribution counts, which twists have been used, and the counter since the last twist) and returns the new one — your assistant carries that object forward between calls.
Not a rules explainer and not a random-prompt generator with no memory — a real story-building game session with genuine trigger logic, fully local and stateless, built on 100+ original story-starters and 40+ original plot twists.
Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.
What Story Prompt is. Story Prompt is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a real collaborative-story game session — serving openers and twists, and tracking a story's contributions and length. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for one tool call at a time.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a session state (the story text contributed so far, genre, word/contribution counts, and which twists have been used) and each new contribution you submit — plus the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one) and standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored. There is no upstream call at all, no database, and no per-user session — every tool call is a pure function of the state it's given. Session states, including any story text you contribute, are not logged, recorded, or used to train anything, and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — everything runs locally on our server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.
Children. Story Prompt is a general-audience service operated by the person using the assistant; the opener and twist banks contain no adult content.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
