category_listtrick_category_infopractice_progression_tipbeginner_tipsequipment_overviewterm_glossarysafety_notefind_trick_sport_for_interesttrick_searchTrickshot is a fully local, hand-curated trick-shot and freestyle-skills reference. category_list gives an overview of all five sports or every technique category within one. trick_category_info gives one category's full detail: a conceptual, original description of the technique family (not a copied tutorial for one named routine), difficulty, generic variation names and practice tips. practice_progression_tip gives ordered next-step guidance for a sport at a beginner/intermediate/advanced skill level, and beginner_tips gives a curated first-things-to-try list. equipment_overview lists what gear a sport needs. term_glossary defines vocabulary used across these hobbies, returning every sport's definition since a term can mean different things in different sports. safety_note gives a sport's risk level and flags which categories carry elevated injury risk (falls, impacts, entanglement) and why — several genuinely do. find_trick_sport_for_interest suggests which of the five sports fits a plain-language interest, and trick_search does a keyword search across every category and glossary term. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

category_list gives an overview — called with no sport it lists all five hobbies with their category count and
baseline risk level; called with a sport it lists every technique category within it. trick_category_info
gives one category's full detail: an original description of the technique family, its difficulty, generic
variation names, and practice tips. practice_progression_tip gives ordered next-step guidance for a sport at a
beginner, intermediate, or advanced skill level, and beginner_tips gives a curated first-things-to-try list.
equipment_overview lists what gear a sport needs and why. term_glossary defines vocabulary used across these
hobbies — a term can mean something different in different sports (like "stall"), so every matching sport's
definition comes back. safety_note gives a sport's overall risk level and flags exactly which categories carry
elevated injury risk — falls, landing impact, or entanglement — and why; several genuinely do.
find_trick_sport_for_interest suggests which of the five hobbies fits a plain-language interest, and
trick_search does a keyword search across every category and glossary term.
The five hobbies covered: pool & billiards trick shots, freestyle basketball/soccer ball control, object manipulation (yo-yo, kendama, diabolo, poi), speed cup stacking, and freestyle disc (frisbee).
Not a copied tutorial for any single named, copyrighted trick or routine — every technique writeup is an original, conceptual description of a general technique family. Not a substitute for hands-on coaching, either: several categories (aerial/flair ball-control moves, ground-level or seated body-control sequences, and layout/diving disc catches especially) carry a real risk of falls or impact injury, and any genuine acrobatic element like a flip should be learned under qualified supervision, not from a written guide alone.
category_list — With no sport, lists all five trick-skill sports with their category count and baseline risk level. With a sport, lists every technique category in that sport (name, one-line summary, difficulty, and whether it carries elevated injury risk). Use for "what trick sports do you cover", "what pool trick shot categories are there". Args: sport.
trick_category_info — Full detail for one technique category: a conceptual, original description of the technique family (not a copied step-by-step tutorial for one specific named routine), its difficulty, generic variation names, practice tips, and whether it carries elevated injury risk. Use for "what is a massé shot", "tell me about diabolo suicides", "what's a nail delay in frisbee". Args: sport, category.
trick_search — Keyword search across every sport's technique categories (name, summary, variations) and the glossary. Use for "search for masse", "anything about isolations", "find tricks with rolls". Args: query.
practice_progression_tip — Ordered practice guidance for one sport at a given skill level — what to focus on next, not a single trick. Use for "what should a beginner cup stacker practice", "I've got the basics of yo-yo, what's next". Args: sport, skill_level.
beginner_tips — A curated, ordered list of the best first things to try for a complete beginner in one sport. Use for "how do I start freestyle frisbee", "what should a total beginner do first in cup stacking". Args: sport.
equipment_overview — What gear a sport needs, with a short note on each item. Use for "what do I need to start cup stacking", "what kind of disc is used for freestyle frisbee". Args: sport.
find_trick_sport_for_interest — Suggests 1-3 of the five trick-skill sports that best match a plain-language interest. Use for "what trick hobby should I try if I like flow arts", "I want something outdoors with a disc". Args: interest.
safety_note — A sport's overall risk level and safety notes, plus which of its categories carry elevated injury risk (falls, landing impact, entanglement) and why. Use for "is freestyle football safe", "what's risky about frisbee freestyle", "does cup stacking have any injury risk". Args: sport.
term_glossary — Definitions of vocabulary used across these five hobbies — sleeper, isolation, delay, downstack, massé, panna, and more. A term can mean different things in different sports (e.g. 'stall'), so every matching sport's definition is returned. Use for "what's a nail delay", "what does isolation mean in poi". Args: term.
ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.agent@connectorbay.com · connectorbay.com/trickshot/support

What Trickshot is. Trickshot is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, fully local trick-shot and freestyle-skills reference — technique categories, practice progressions, equipment overviews, a glossary, safety notes, and search across five hobbies. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a sport name, a category name, a skill level, a search keyword, a glossary term, or a plain-language interest description — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Trickshot is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant. Several categories describe physically demanding tricks (falls, jumps, dives) that are not appropriate for unsupervised children — see the in-app safety notes.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
