The question that comes up when the breed gets specific — how many vertebrae does an Arabian horse actually have, what are the Al Khamsa strains, which Thoroughbred sires trace to Arabian bloodlines, is endurance riding really dominated by Arabians — answered from one hand-curated reference, without a scroll through inconsistent breeder blog posts.
Conformation and physical traits — the dished facial profile, arched neck and mitbah, level croup, naturally
high tail carriage, size and stamina, temperament, and the verified skeletal trait that many (not all)
Arabians carry one fewer vertebra than most other horse breeds (breed_characteristics_info); one traditional
Bedouin breeding strain's name and characteristics, covering the five Al Khamsa foundation strains — Kuhaylan,
Saqlawi, Abayyan, Hamdani, Hadban (foundation_strain_info); search across strain names, aliases and
descriptions (strain_search); the Bedouin oral, dam-line pedigree breeding tradition and its historical
significance, factually (historical_breeding_tradition_info); the breed's global influence — the
Thoroughbred's three foundation sires (Byerley Turk, Darley Arabian, Godolphin Arabian) and their debated
Arabian ancestry, plus documented bloodline influence on the Quarter Horse, Morgan, Warmbloods, Lipizzaner and
others (global_influence_info); modern sport — endurance riding (where Arabians dominate internationally),
halter/breed shows, dedicated Arabian racing, and other disciplines (modern_sport_and_shows_info); general,
non-veterinary-diagnostic care, feeding and exercise basics, always paired with a note to consult a
veterinarian for actual health concerns (care_basics_guide); common coat colors — bay, grey, chestnut, black
— with a brief genetics-adjacent note (color_and_markings_guide); and a glossary of breed terms — strain, Al
Khamsa, dished profile, halter class, endurance riding, mitbah, and more (horse_glossary).
Not veterinary guidance, a breeding or appraisal service, or a horse-sales directory. care_basics_guide is
explicit, general, non-diagnostic breed-level information — it never diagnoses, treats, or advises on a
specific animal's health, and every response repeats the same instruction: consult a qualified veterinarian
for any real horse's health, feeding, or medical concern. color_and_markings_guide gives a brief,
genetics-adjacent note for each color, not exhaustive coat-color genetics. The skeletal vertebra-count trait
in breed_characteristics_info is described accurately as common but not universal across the breed, not as
a trait every individual Arabian carries. This connector covers Arabian-horse breed heritage in depth; for a
brief note on horse racing as a modern and traditional Gulf sport more broadly, see the riyada connector's
horse_racing_heritage_info, which explicitly defers deeper breed content to this connector.
breed_characteristics_info — The Arabian horse's conformation and physical traits — the dished facial profile, arched neck and mitbah, level croup, naturally high tail carriage, build and size — plus temperament notes and the verified skeletal trait that many (not all) Arabians carry one fewer vertebra than most other horse breeds. Use for "what does an Arabian horse look like", "how many vertebrae does an Arabian horse have", "why do Arabians hold their tail up".
foundation_strain_info — One traditional Bedouin breeding strain's name and characteristics — covers the five Al Khamsa foundation strains: Kuhaylan (Keheilan), Saqlawi (Seglawi), Abayyan (Abeyan), Hamdani, and Hadban. Use for "what is the Kuhaylan strain", "tell me about Saqlawi Arabians". Args: name.
strain_search — Search the five traditional Bedouin breeding strains by partial name, alias, or description text. Use for "which strain is known for refinement", "strains associated with Najd". Args: query.
historical_breeding_tradition_info — The Bedouin oral, dam-line pedigree ('strain') breeding tradition and its historical significance, factually — how strains were tracked through the maternal line without written stud books, the Al Khamsa foundation-mare tradition, the close human-horse bond, and the rise of modern written breed registries. Use for "how did Bedouins track horse pedigrees", "what is Al Khamsa", "why are Arabian mares prized".
global_influence_info — The Arabian horse's global influence on modern breeds — the Thoroughbred's three foundation sires (Byerley Turk, Darley Arabian, Godolphin Arabian) and their debated Arabian ancestry, and the breed's documented bloodline influence on the Quarter Horse, Morgan, Warmbloods, Lipizzaner and others worldwide. Use for "which horses founded the Thoroughbred breed", "did Arabians influence other horse breeds".
modern_sport_and_shows_info — A factual overview of the Arabian in modern sport — endurance riding (where Arabians dominate internationally), halter/breed shows judged on conformation and type, dedicated Arabian flat racing, and other disciplines like dressage and show jumping. Use for "are Arabians good at endurance riding", "what is a halter class", "is there Arabian-only horse racing".
care_basics_guide — General, non-veterinary-diagnostic care, feeding, exercise and handling basics for the Arabian breed — always with a note to consult a qualified veterinarian for any actual horse's health or medical concern. Use for "how do you feed an Arabian horse", "do Arabians need a lot of exercise", "is an Arabian horse a good first horse".
color_and_markings_guide — Common coat colors in the Arabian breed — bay, grey, chestnut and black — with a brief, genetics-adjacent note on how each arises, not exhaustive coat-color genetics. Use for "what colors do Arabian horses come in", "why do grey Arabians look white", "is chestnut the same as sorrel". Args: color.
horse_glossary — Definitions of common Arabian-horse terms (strain, Al Khamsa, dished profile, halter class, endurance riding, conformation, mitbah, foundation sire, dam line, part-bred Arabian). Use for "what does mitbah mean", "what's a halter class", "what is a dam line". Args: term.

What Ansab (Arabian Horse) is. Ansab (Arabian Horse) is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated Arabian horse breed heritage reference — breed characteristics and conformation, the traditional Bedouin strain system, historical breeding tradition, global bloodline influence, modern sport, general care basics, coat colors, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a strain name, a search query, a color, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Ansab (Arabian Horse) is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
