About

Crypto Wallet puts wallet-security and self-custody education behind one connector, hand-curated and fully local — zero upstream API calls. wallet_type_guide explains hot vs. cold (hardware/offline) wallets, their pros/cons, and common forms, or both side by side. seed_phrase_security_practices lists concrete do's and never's for protecting a seed phrase. hardware_wallet_basics explains what a hardware wallet is, how on-device signing keeps keys offline, common forms, and when it's worth using one. scam_pattern_lookup covers common wallet-drain scam patterns — fake airdrops, malicious approval/signature phishing, address poisoning, fake wallet apps, fake customer support — each with red flags and how to avoid it. self_custody_readiness_check takes true/false answers about a person's own practices (never a secret) and returns a weighted readiness score, a risk band, and recommendations. custodial_vs_noncustodial_glossary defines self-custody, seed phrase, private key, hardware wallet, token approval, address poisoning, multisig, and more. Deliberately distinct from coinwise (live prices, on-chain data): this connector is pure security education with no live calls.

Sources: Computed locally from hand-curated wallet-security education (wallet types, seed-phrase practices, scam patterns, glossary) and a weighted self-custody readiness score derived from the caller's own true/false answers; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Crypto Wallet is for

"Hot wallet or cold wallet — what's the difference?", "how do I keep my seed phrase safe?", "is this airdrop a scam?", "what's address poisoning?", "am I following good wallet-security practices?" — the self-custody questions people ask before (and after) they hold their own crypto, answered as pure, fully local security education. It pairs with the coinwise connector (live prices and on-chain data) but never fetches or stores anything about a specific coin, price, or address, and it never asks for or stores a real seed phrase or private key.

What it does

wallet_type_guide explains hot vs. cold (hardware/offline) wallets — definitions, pros/cons, and common forms of each, or both side by side. seed_phrase_security_practices lists concrete do's and never's for protecting a seed phrase: offline backups, never photographing or cloud-storing it, never typing it into a website or app, never sharing it with anyone. hardware_wallet_basics explains what a hardware wallet is, how on-device transaction signing keeps keys offline, common forms (USB, Bluetooth, fully air-gapped), and when it's worth using one. scam_pattern_lookup covers common wallet-drain scam patterns — fake airdrops, malicious approval/signature phishing, address poisoning, fake wallet apps, fake customer support — each with red flags and how to avoid it. self_custody_readiness_check takes a set of true/false answers about a person's own practices (never a secret) and returns a weighted readiness score, a risk band, and specific recommendations for anything not yet followed. custodial_vs_noncustodial_glossary defines related terms: self-custody, custodial wallet, seed phrase, private key, public address, hardware wallet, cold storage, hot wallet, token approval, address poisoning, multisig, watch-only wallet, air-gapped signing, and social engineering.

What it is not

Crypto Wallet is general security education, not personalized security, legal, or financial advice, and it never asks for, accepts, or stores a real seed phrase or private key — self_custody_readiness_check only ever takes true/false answers about practices, never a secret. It has no connection to live prices, balances, or on-chain data (use coinwise for that). Crypto transactions are irreversible: no one, including this connector, can recover funds lost to a leaked seed phrase, a scam, or a mistaken transfer — when holdings are significant, consider consulting a security professional experienced with digital assets.

Privacy policy

Crypto Wallet — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Crypto Wallet is. Crypto Wallet is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for hand-curated, fully local wallet-security and self-custody education — wallet-type guidance, seed-phrase security practices, hardware wallet basics, scam-pattern lookups, a self-custody readiness score, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a wallet type, a scam-pattern name, a glossary term, or a set of true/false answers about your OWN security practices (e.g. "is your seed phrase backed up offline?") — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

We never ask for, accept, or store a seed phrase or private key. self_custody_readiness_check is designed so the only inputs are true/false labels for named practices — it has no field for a seed phrase, private key, or any other secret, and nothing you tell it could contain one in normal use.

Everything is answered from bundled, hand-curated content and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your wallet address, your balances, or any account or identifying information, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Crypto Wallet is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Crypto Wallet — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Crypto Wallet connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Crypto Wallet returns hand-curated, fully local wallet-security and self-custody education — hot vs. cold wallet guidance, seed-phrase security practices, hardware wallet basics, common wallet-drain scam patterns, a self-custody readiness score, and a custodial vs. non-custodial glossary. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General security education, not advice, and never a wallet interaction. Crypto Wallet is educational information, not personalized security, legal, or financial advice, and it never connects to, reads from, or moves funds in any wallet. It has no ability to check a live price, a balance, or an on-chain transaction — see the companion coinwise connector for that.
  3. Never share a seed phrase or private key with anyone, including this Service. No legitimate service, including this one, will ever ask for a seed phrase or private key. self_custody_readiness_check accepts only true/false answers about named practices and is not designed to accept, and must never be given, an actual secret.
  4. Irreversibility. Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. Neither this Service nor Unify Dynamics LLC can recover funds lost to a leaked seed phrase, a scam, a phishing signature, or a mistaken transfer.
  5. Illustrative scoring. self_custody_readiness_check produces an illustrative, rule-of-thumb score from the practices you report — it is not a security audit or a guarantee against loss, and does not cover every possible risk.
  6. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  7. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  8. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from bundled content, and nothing is stored — and we never ask for a seed phrase or private key.
  9. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  10. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss of funds, security incident, or other damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  11. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
