About

Cyclewise gives educational, explicitly non-diagnostic menstrual-cycle estimates from standard, widely-taught cycle-phase formulas. cycle_phase estimates today's (or any date's) cycle day, phase (menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, luteal), estimated ovulation date, estimated fertile window, and the next period's estimated start, using the standard assumption that the luteal phase is a fairly fixed ~14 days (ovulation day = cycle length − 14; fertile window = ovulation day − 5 to + 1). cycle_variability takes several recent cycle lengths and computes the average, standard deviation, shortest, longest and spread, noting whether that spread and those lengths sit in a commonly cited typical range. cycle_education covers the four phases, typical ranges, and general reasons commonly suggested for seeing a clinician. Every number is a population-average estimate, not a measurement of an individual's actual hormones or ovulation — not a diagnostic tool, not a medical device, not a method of contraception or conception planning. Keyless; computed locally; nothing stored.

Sources: Computed locally from standard, widely-taught cycle-phase formulas and commonly cited patient-education ranges; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Cyclewise is for

A quick, educational estimate of where someone might be in their menstrual cycle and when a fertile window is likely to fall, from the date a period started and a usual cycle length — plus a way to see whether recent cycle lengths look typical or worth a chat with a clinician.

What it does

cycle_phase estimates today's (or any date's) cycle day, phase (menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, luteal), an estimated ovulation date, an estimated fertile window, and the next period's estimated start date — from standard, widely-taught cycle-phase formulas: the luteal phase is assumed to be a fairly fixed ~14 days, so estimated ovulation day = cycle length − 14, and the fertile window is estimated as 5 days before that ovulation day through 1 day after (sperm can survive several days; the egg survives roughly a day). cycle_variability takes several recent cycle lengths and computes the average, standard deviation, shortest, longest and the spread between them, noting whether that spread and those lengths sit in the commonly cited "everyday variation" range. cycle_education gives general background on the four phases, typical ranges, and signs commonly suggested as reasons to talk to a clinician.

What it is not

Not a diagnostic tool, not a medical device, and not a method of contraception or fertility planning. Every number here is a population-average estimate from a formula assuming a "typical" cycle — real cycles vary in length cycle to cycle and person to person, ovulation does not always land exactly 14 days before the next period, and nothing here reads an individual's actual hormones, temperature or cervical mucus. Do not use it to avoid or plan a pregnancy. For irregular cycles, pain, unusually heavy bleeding, missed periods, or fertility concerns, see a clinician. Nothing you enter is stored.

Privacy policy

Cyclewise — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Cyclewise is. Cyclewise is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for educational, non-diagnostic menstrual-cycle phase and fertile-window estimates. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the dates and numbers (a period start date, a usual cycle or period length, a list of past cycle lengths) needed for the calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a period start date, cycle and period length in days, a list of recent cycle lengths, an optional date to report for, or an education topic word — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. The formulas are pure arithmetic on the dates and numbers you send; the educational content is bundled text. No request is forwarded to any third party. Dates and cycle lengths you send are used for that one answer and are not recorded, logged in request bodies, linked to any identity, or used to train anything. We never learn who the dates belong to.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or any health or account records. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Not a health record. Cyclewise does not create, store, or transmit a medical or health record of any kind; dates you send exist only for the single calculation that answers your question.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Cyclewise — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Cyclewise connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Cyclewise returns educational, non-diagnostic estimates of menstrual-cycle phase, fertile-window timing, and cycle-length variability, computed from standard published cycle-phase formulas applied to dates and numbers you provide, plus general educational content. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, not contraception. Cyclewise is general wellness and educational information only. It does not diagnose any condition, does not measure an individual's actual hormones or ovulation, and must not be relied on to avoid or to plan a pregnancy. Cycles vary cycle to cycle and person to person; every figure returned is a population-average estimate from a formula that assumes a "typical" cycle. Consult a clinician for irregular cycles, pain, unusually heavy bleeding, missed periods, or any fertility concern, and for anything symptom-related.
  3. Sources. Formulas (estimated ovulation day = cycle length − 14; fertile window = ovulation day − 5 to + 1) and typical-range figures reflect widely taught reproductive-physiology material and commonly published patient-education guidance (e.g. materials in the style of ACOG patient FAQs); they are not a specific clinical guideline and are not attributed to any one publisher.
  4. Acceptable use. Do not use the Service to circumvent rate limits or to build a product that presents these estimates as a medical diagnosis or a contraceptive method. Automated use within the published limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
  7. Acceptable inputs. Do not send another person's dates without their knowledge; the Service has no way to verify whose dates are being asked about and treats every request the same.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including any reliance on it for contraception or conception timing. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
