Desi Life — Terms of Service

Effective 19 September 2026.

1. The service. Desi Life is an information connector operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("Unify Dynamics"). It provides cricket information, Hindu-calendar computations, language translation, nutrition estimates and unit conversions to AI assistants that call it on your behalf. By using an assistant that calls Desi Life, you agree to these terms.

2. Informational only. Panchang, festival and muhurat outputs are computed from astronomical rules and customary conventions; regional almanacs and family traditions may differ, and outputs are not religious advice. Nutrition values are estimates derived from published food-composition tables and are not medical or dietary advice. Translations are machine-generated and may contain errors; do not rely on them for legal, medical or safety-critical communication. Cricket data comes from a third-party provider and may be delayed or incorrect.

3. Acceptable use. You may not use the service to build a competing dataset by bulk extraction, to circumvent rate limits, to send unlawful or infringing content for translation, or in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of the assistant platform you are using. Pro API keys are personal to the licensee and may not be shared or resold.

4. Availability. The free tier is provided as-is with no uptime commitment. We aim for high availability and publish status at https://desi-life.connectorbay.com/health. We may change, limit or discontinue features, including third-party-dependent features such as cricket or translation, at any time.

5. Third-party services. Some features depend on services operated by others (Bhashini, CricketData.org, Prokerala). Their availability and accuracy are outside our control.

6. Intellectual property. The service, its software and its curated data are owned by Unify Dynamics or its licensors. Outputs are provided for your personal or internal use through your assistant.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIFY DYNAMICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR US$50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

8. Privacy. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy at https://connectorbay.com/desi-life/privacy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California.
