About

exam_structure gives the full section-by-section breakdown, timing, and scoring scale for one exam; compare_exams puts several side by side; list_exams shows coverage. section_time_budget computes a genuine per-question time budget and 25/50/75/100% pacing checkpoints, from a built-in exam/section or a total time and question count you supply. estimate_scaled_score gives an approximate raw-to-scaled-score estimate for SAT/ACT/IELTS sections where a smooth approximation is meaningful — always clearly labeled as an approximation — and honestly says no deterministic table exists for the adaptive GRE, GMAT Focus Edition, or TOEFL iBT rather than fabricating one. exam_glossary defines composite score, band score, adaptive testing, CEFR, and more. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored. Not affiliated with the College Board, ACT Inc., ETS, GMAC, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge English.

Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated — structural facts hand-curated from each test maker's own published format documentation; the time-budget calculator is real arithmetic and the score estimator is an explicit generic approximation; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Exam Format is for

Structural facts about major standardized tests — SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL — plus a real time-budget calculator and an approximate scaled-score estimator.

What it does

Exam Format is a structural reference hand-curated from each test maker's own published format documentation: section counts, per-section timing, question counts, and scoring scales for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. list_exams and exam_structure cover a single exam's full breakdown; compare_exams puts several side by side. section_time_budget computes a genuine per-question time budget and pacing checkpoints (at 25/50/75/100% of the questions), either from a built-in exam/section lookup or from a total time and question count you supply directly — real arithmetic, not a lookup. estimate_scaled_score gives an approximate raw-to-scaled-score estimate for exams and sections where a smooth generic approximation is meaningful (SAT Reading-and-Writing/Math, ACT English/Math/Reading/Science, IELTS Listening/Reading) — always clearly labeled as an approximation, never asserted as an official conversion table, since real test-form-specific tables vary and are not published in reusable form. For computer-adaptive tests with no such deterministic table at all — the GRE, the GMAT Focus Edition, and the TOEFL iBT — it honestly says so rather than fabricating a number. exam_glossary defines terms like composite score, band score, adaptive testing, and CEFR. Keyless; fully local; nothing stored.

What it is not

Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the College Board, ACT Inc., ETS, GMAC, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge English. Structural facts are current as of the date shown in each response, but test makers periodically revise format, timing, and scoring — always confirm against the official test maker's site before test day. Scaled-score estimates are approximations for practice purposes, never official or predictive scores.

Exam Format — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Exam Format is. Exam Format is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to look up standardized-test structural facts, compute a time budget, or get an approximate scaled-score estimate. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one request (an exam name, section, or a raw score count).

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is served from a bundled reference file or computed on the fly, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise, and no real test maker's system is ever contacted — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, or any actual test registration or score-report data, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — every request is served locally on the server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Exam Format is designed to be usable by students preparing for standardized tests, but the connector itself is a general-audience reference tool; no account, sign-up, or personal information is collected from anyone regardless of age.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Exam Format — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Exam Format connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Exam Format provides hand-curated structural reference information about the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL (section counts, timing, question counts, scoring scales), a computed time-budget calculator, and an approximate scaled-score estimator. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not affiliated with any test maker. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the College Board, ACT Inc., ETS, GMAC, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge English. Trademarks (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, and others) belong to their respective owners and are used here solely to describe the tests referenced.
  3. Structural facts change. Test makers periodically revise section counts, timing, and scoring; the Service reflects our best understanding as of the date shown in each response and may not reflect the most recent change. Always confirm against the official test maker's site before test day.
  4. Scaled-score estimates are approximations only. The estimate_scaled_score tool produces a smooth, generic approximation for illustrative/practice purposes — it is not, and is never presented as, an official score, a prediction of your actual result, or any specific test form's real conversion table (which test makers do not publish in reusable form and which varies by form). It is not offered at all for computer-adaptive exams (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL) where no honest deterministic conversion exists.
  5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your request is answered from a bundled reference file or a local computation, and nothing is stored.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including any decision made based on a scaled-score estimate. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
